Why hello. Friendly neighborhood moderator here! It is NOT against the rules for someone to post the rest of an editorial. I was (and I feel many other members probably were too) under the impression that the scans posted were previews given that the whole edits were not shown. I don't see a problem with someone coming in and posting the remainder of an editorial in that instance.

Perhaps it goes into the sticky grey area over who is scanning what but FRANCY ITALY, has not done anything wrong and her scans will remain here.

I would also like to say that it is really not anyone's job to tell play moderator on the thread and tell other members what they should / shouldn't do. The report post function there for a reason, notify a moderator so that the issue can be resolved in an orderly fashion.

And for the record I don't know why there is scan drama - we should all just be happy that someone has taken the time to share their scans with us and that we aren't getting busted upside the head for copyright infringement.

The said post contained already posted pictures, and I was referring to these. What's the use of reposting pictures in worse quality compared to the first post?

As I said I discussed the repost matter before and it was exactly this discussion I was trying to avoid. A silly rule "No repost of already posted pictures" - but I was told I had to stick to it.

I consider my scans as some of the best available on this forum and I find it rude and disrespectful, that worse scans are posted - REposted as to tFS rules. If rules don't apply to everybody here, and one moderator says this, the other that, it's time for a change.

It is logical to comprehend that a "selected" set of scans serve the purpose of previews and can be treated in a similar manner as photographed pages. If a posted editorial is incomplete, there is no reason for another, complete set to be posted in order to promote coherence of the story. If you needed that spelled out in concise guidelines, then you assume that we perceive our members to be without common sense. In fact, your earlier claims make me question whether you purposefully posted only six images so you can make such an argument once the complete editorial showed up via another member.

If you are indeed leaving us achAT, then good luck to you. Apparently no one here is qualified enough to be in your presence in the first place.

I had no idea scanning could become a social mechanism for elitist ideologies, but I guess I was wrong...If we're going to break the law we apparently have to do it in the best manner possible.

Well i see achAT's point, the fact is that Francy did repost pictures in this thread, its does feel like it turned into Isabeli's fan thread instead about this issue.Some shots she reposted three times for gods sake, so i can see why he would be offended when he provided preview scans that were great quality, why not out of respect post only the ones the that weren't?
