I agree. The only VI worthy shot is the cover, but the rest can be a small editorial for the Vogue Agenda section of a small edition. I like Pociega's work, but seems not to be a legit fashion photographer. Same as Tina Barney or Martin Parr. It's such a let down after the return of Meisel and Klein in recent months to find this. There where lots of fashion photographers that worked with Franca Sozzani, like Burbridge, Sorrenti, Sundsbo, Roversi, Walker (etc), that could pull better material. It's an insult to the once best fashion magazine of the world. If we get another great comeback the next month, and then something so basic, It would feel like a tasteless joke to the readers. Franca Sozzani didn't build up an institution for 30 years to be used in such a sad way. It's breaking a legacy for nothing. I remember this thing that Franca used to said, telling a story with strong imagery to apeal the world, beyond words can say (in this case in Italian), so everybody understand the content . If I'm not wrong there was an English version for USA, I remember reading the date in English in some covers.
