absolutely no to meisel. this looks way, way better than anything he has been cranking out for the past few years.

we don't need another braindead sterile studio shoot from him and his assistants.

It's decent, but Carlin's work just doesn't appeal to me. It's always so artificial and digital looking, like an AI generated image.

I think the editorial has stronger images but the cover is very striking. I feel like Meisel could've elevated it but his team doesn't make any effort these days so I'm enjoying what we've got.

Personally, I do not think that Mesiel would have elevated this cover and editorial at all. This cover story is very elevated already.

I'm just in love with this as much as the majority here! So wonderful to see someone give Vogue Italia the cover story it deserves. Vittoria Ceretti is just an added bonus. You will never hear me complain at the sight of Vittoria! I love the strong sense of 80s glamour here...

WOWWWWWWZA Finally ! It took them long enough, this is the first WOW cover after Franca's death that I love, she looks just marvellous and that editorial is beyond gorgeoussss : the ITALIAN VOGUE we all grew up with from back in the golden days of fashionnnnnnn.

I completely agree the cover is fine, but it’s not spectacular. I feel like it’s getting hyped just because Vittoria is on the cover, but it’s not her best work (bear with me, I’m not complaining). I just feel like it could have been way more elevated, especially for a Vogue Italia cover. Back in the day, this would’ve been the kind of work Vogue España would have published.

Vogue Italia saw summer is coming (today?) and suddenly ran out of ideas, and thought : "what could we do, now, like right here and right now, maybe throwing a zest of Vittoria in the mix 'cause she's our national superstar or something?". Bland concept, but it sorta dropped a couple lovely images. Then me : "shall I complain or adore those I already liked at first sight?".
