Vogue Italia October 2009 : Rianne ten Haken & Karlie Kloss by Steven Meisel

i think Emma SUmmerton's editorial is simply beautiful. Meisel's ed looks good too but i expect better. The editorial with Snejana is just pure loveee.

ETA:..i just really gotta say how much i cannot stand Kadel's editorial.

kadel sometimes crosses the border towards being a bit tacky. like his numero ed wih vlada recently.

All of these eds are really great! Especially Sasha's and Cat's! Thanks a lot Diciassette (17)

Klein's ed looks too 3-D graphic-ish to me, like a screen capture from a game or something (the set, the face...) I guess that was the purpose:ermm:

On the other hand, i LOVE Deborah Turbeville's ed:heart: I think i'm getting this issue just for that (plus Simon!)

totally agree... i'm sick of his lighting technique(?) and Cat's monotonous expression:(

Great issue
The main editorial is very good and It's a matter of glam and Variations on chic are my favorite ones.

the Sasha editorial is really soooo beautiful, one of the best stories i've seen from edward enninful in a while. steven klein's daphne story is also quite unexpected and beautiful, looks like klein's take on a wonderful old cartoon illustration like "peanuts" or something like that...

just got my issue today.. i didn't liked the cover at the first sight, but now i love it, it looks so much better in real!
and sasha's editorial is just wonderful!

:woot: I forgot Rianne shot a VI cover! Well, I'm absolutely happy she's made her comeback solidly.

Did anyone notice the difference of the cover's paper in this issue ?
Just compare the cover of last month or any other previous months to this one.
It's all shiny and looks worst now

Yes I noticed that as well, its glossy rather than matt.

Vogue Italia covers have been glossy in the past. The like to alter between glossy and matt quite often.
