Vogue Japan February 2017 by Luigi & Iango

This is Vittoria's shot. The others are merely backup. I'm impressed!

Great to see Vogue Japan tried something new (finally no white background and tacky styling!), unfortunately the result is still rather weak. Why do all the girls look so miserable? And poor Yasmin, such a gorgeous girl but I have yet to see it translate in print.

Surely HQ makes Yasmin's hairstyle look less terrible yet still a mess. This girl is amazing in recent Vogue China's Editorial! And Ruth's facial expression is too much, Faretta and Agnes are flat but they are kind of new so they have time to practise and improve. Imo Odette and Vittoria are the best two.

they look so innocent and sexy at same time.I never think odette can pull it off lolita style. In the first time,I see japanese culture in vogue japan cover.

Odette and Vittoria would have been enough ! but still a good cover . Looking forward to see the editorial

It's a 3-page fold-out cover of 15 models in total. I think this is the 3rd time they do this type of cover and it's getting boring... :innocent:

They should have finished with main cover only. Compared to it, fold-out looks boring and unnecessary.

I just thought Camille and Marjan who shot with them at the same day might be only in the main cover story. There you go! The cast is really great, but the cover is a little bit boring. Look forward to see the whole editorial.

i find the whole cover too subdued for Vogue Japan - remember when their covers were bright and fun? Whenever they ditch their signature white backdrop, the results are almost always disappointing (a slight blue hue on Gigi's cover being an exception). It's almost like the white anchors the whole thing, i mean this is so anonymous. On the plus side, it's a role call of 'it' models, which is always welcome on the cover of Vogue.

Also, Camille really stand out in the foldout. I never thought of her as a cover girl but damn, I want to see more of her now!
