^ Thanks for the scan, they should have used second image as the cover ( I mean cover-girl page and #2 shot on it). Dont like Lily's editorial

Even with the mass of hair, the cover looks outstandingly better in HQ. However I agree about the other pose, tarsha!
It is just me or does Alessandra resemble Cindy Crawford here? Especially on the cover girl page.
Not that impressed with Lily's edit. She does look beautiful, but the black and white bores it too much. Thanks MAGstyle!

There is no more pics of alessandra inside the mag? thanks for yous scans. Love the cover, it looks even better in HQ

I actually really like Lily's ed, she looks really beautiful. Love the 6th shot especially.

I agree with you here.

Too many complaints about everything. People here blame the 1 or 2 outlier models, namely old hag supermodels who emerge once in a blue moon out of retirement and 3 VS models who emerge out of their catalogs of monopolizing the magazine industry when in fact, its Lara-Natasha-Daria + a sprinkling of Anja and Freja who's been in every magazine for the past 5 years. And nothing against model class 2005-2006, in fact they are my favorites and they are very well loved for a very good reason, but old supermodels and VS models are not really the reason why your favorite newb cant get a cover. Maybe you and the other 5 people with 5 alternicks who stalk their threads and their moms are the only ones who care about them. Or maybe your name is not steven meisel. Okay end of rant.

Nevertheless, I am not a VS fan and have always thought of Alessandra as not high fashion enough too, but her handlers slowly put her back into our stream of consciousness last year by having her show up in magazine edits and have good runway appearances, thus reminding people that she can do other stuff other than VS.

Because you really think that Doutzen on Russian Vogue, Alessandra on Japan Vogue and Selita on Ocean drive proved themselves as REAL HIGH FASHION MODELS??? Hum :innocent: ya... Frankly Raquel, Sasha, Freja, Lily, Coco, Tao, Du Juan, Lara, Natasha etc. are wayyyyyyyy better models than the VS girls and YES the old-school supermodels rock better from time to time than the VS girls :D but I guess we have different opinions: "Maybe you and the other 5 people with 5 alternicks who stalk their threads and their moms are the only ones who care about them":lol::lol:

"Nevertheless, I am not a VS fan and have always thought of Alessandra as not high fashion enough too" = my point exactly. End of the story.

i'm not even remotely appealed by the cover after seeing it in HQ... those purple and silver fonts are literally horrendous.! and Alessandra's pose is pretty random.
albeit Lily looks beautiful in her edit - apart from the shots where she wears a wig -, i'm not that impressed with it in itself. the poses and the styling are somewhat lazy.
thanks for your scans magstyle! :flower:

Vogue Nippon continues to be one of the most consistent Vogues imho, their eds have so much variety in the cast and style.

Lily's editorial is beautiful, nice to see her with a new hairstyle even if it's a wig, she should consider cutting her hair. Love Abbey's ed too, Sissy has been doing a wonderfull job for VN.

thanks for the scans :flower:
