Firstly thank-you Harumi & Elsa for your fine work scanning all these editorials.
Sorrenti's edit. with Nat Poly is right up my alley Total 80's vibe and there's a lot of talk about whether it's sexy or not/whether Poly is sexy or not......I personally don't think Sorrenti went down the 'sexy' route here, it is quite kitschy and I could see a couple of the shots in an old Pirelli Calendar. The 3rd shot is outstanding. Also Natasha never looked better.
I am not a fan of Daria's 'office sex' editorial and she looks rough as a badger's ****. Lily D's is certainly not what I was expecting, but it is very stylish and some of the posing and force of the pics are reminscent of Helmut Newton.
Crystal's edit. is a wasted opportunity, but I am pleasently surprised by the styling, lighting and sheer opulence of Vanessa's pics by Karl. Clearly Karl could be bothered to produce some decent shots that day The Night Porter springs to mind here.

Excatly my reaction. When I saw the pictures I though, Karl shot that?
It's really brilliant compare to his usual fare.

Even though i love Lily in Erotica i was still a little disappointed

nobody's questioning Natasha, i think she is a great model who can move in front of the camera and she always has strong poses. it's all really about personal choice.
at this point i don't know what was their plan with the covers, i can't say anything about the feature on the actresses, we haven't seen it yet, but i think every one of them deserves at least some pages each, i mean with a cast like that it's pointless to have just 2 group shots.
Lily's ed is very strong, i always love Klein's asthetic, it's similar to Lara's ed in october.I love the feel in Vanessa's ed, she looks very seductive, Karl did a great job. And about Daria, i'm on the fence with that ed, it's like it's trying too hard, a bit forced, the original is much better.

^ the actress editorial is a reprint of the covers plus two single shot of Pene, one single shot of Julianne and a shot of Pene with Gwyneth (which is the probably the best one).

I can't be bothered to scan it but I will take some quick snap-shots later this week if nobody else scan it.

so that`s not about cinema, nor about sex, this issue is about ... stockings... i usually love how Carine styled shootings, but i do`t like such obvious sexiness as wearing stockings on each shot. and i usualy don`t like stockings. i can recall only 4 places where their appearance doesnt look obscene and corny...

lily's ed is truly reminiscent of lara's controversial one... i can't really complain because i've always been fond of klein's work. i'm also glad to see vanessa back in vogue paris, one of the rare celebrities i admire.
about daria's ed, i actually expressed my point very ankwardly, but what i deplore is carine's choice to emphasize a decadent period of serge & jane relationship... i find that cliché and too much typical of the nowadays society.
