The (last) Editor's Letter:

(Although I've tried my best, please keep in mind this is still a Google translate.)

"It's surprising to realize that Vogue Paris is 100 years old. It looks so young, so new. It is the incredible strength of this title that has been able to renew itself over and over again. Vogue Paris is timeless. Which is doubly surprising, since it deals with the most fickle culture: the fashion. No doubt because Vogue Paris loves fashion absolutely, passionately, and it is a duty for this magazine to celebrate it with respect, enthusiasm, fervor and imagination. When creating designers, Vogue Paris has always responded boldly, wanting to follow them in the best possible way, which is its greatest responsibility. Vogue Paris is the dawn of fashion designers: and when you travel through the years, you can read a part of their life there. Their first time, their beginnings, their rise, their crowning...

Vogue Paris is a wonderful family album and it was a pleasure for me to dive into the ocean of all these photographs. The most beautiful, you will agree throughout this anniversary issue where I wanted to pay tribute to our fabulous archives. The archives are the heart of a magazine, its backbone, its word that remains for eternity, it is its voice, its confidences, its deep secrets that it shares with you. I was surprised myself to discover unknown treasures there, previously disturbing images of modernity, so vivid. It is moving to unearth them like this from the limbo of the past to realise that they still have something to say. Thanks to the talent of the multitude of photographers that Vogue Paris has welcomed into its pages. The world's greatest photographers are in Vogue Paris and we could have done 100 issues to celebrate 100 years. Quite simply, it's Vogue's eye, its special look at time. This is its uniqueness, its unique personality. The profession that we exercise compels us to constantly move forward, to scrutinize novelty. You will see that there is an infinite sweetness to look behind you. I am extremely proud to have accompanied this beautiful title, a wonderful friend. I wish it a long life and to keep its rebellious spirit which suits it so well.

She definitely has some resentment, the way it's being written in french feels so distant and too neutral tone. As a linguist I can tell she was not in a super duper happy mood when writing this, the choice of words, the way sentences are expressed and so on.

God knows how much I love this community, but it really makes me so effing angry when some people forget that kindness is one of the most important human characteristics. It is not that hard to say a simple "thank you", and yet it can really change the outlook of someone else's day.

Especially if that someone else happens to be YOU my love @aracic  - an extraordinary human being who is willing to *BUY* a printed magazine, tear it apart, scan it page by page, digitally remove all the (again, "thanks" to manual scanning!) artifacts, crop it and properly align it, and on the top of ALL that to post it here for all of us to see it, for FREE!

P.S. Dixi et salvavi animam meam.

He and Benn make most of the work here  (and Vogue28 for covers and Justaguy, Burbuja and Vogue Girl in Vintage). Do you know about Sanned Fashion World's IG??? Your comment reminded me of him. He buys those vintage thick issues of any Vogue, and crop and scan every page.

Damn even though I don’t like Alt at all, I still get a bit emotional after reading her letter. Wish the best to her, au revoir!

^^ I mean Scanned Fashion World. I wrote it bad. I'm sorry.

He is super crazy guy, who is always complaining that everyone steals his scans, and post tons of stories about this and how this is unfair (by the way, the quality of color doesn’t correspond to the right color scheme, it’s very dark) and asked to do not post his stuff over here and on bellazon, I don’t know what he wants, because he complained in comments here that the credit for his scan here were too small that he barely recognizes it, he started to RAISE letters here in comments, guess he would love to be mentioned as a part of shooting team (LOL) or that someone payed him for using his scans every time like is he was photographer. This is so ridiculous. I even unfollowed him because it’s hard to listen to all this toxic bullsh*t over and over again.

Lol, I did the same. Even art partner's agents complain less than him.
noone understands what he wants, he always so aggressive when someone points out that he just scan these things, this stuff or its productions don't belong to him... i wish that someone from licensing or authors' agents speaks to him. And then he will block them and write another story about oppression towards him))

Someone with copies (money and a good scanner) should open an online archive.

He invested his time and money in these scans, he can act as he likes. Who else doing this today other than vogue archive reposts? None. Not even cr*py snaps. They are just waiting for others to do. And we lost a lot of past materials after hosting sites closed, etc
ASF, why you even bother? You own all these magazines already

I only own my Elle Argentina and Vogue/GQ Latam collection, but I have an old scanner too. I wish somebody could do it. There's a guy on Tumblr that shares his L'Uomo collection.
