While I don't think anything other than the cover editorial is really weak, must say I'm surprised to see Vogue Russia so neutered. Images and styling are solid, but it's all so inoffensive. I guess I'm still stuck on Alyona's Vogue, which seemed light years ago.

I like this far better than Natasha Poly's cover from June (and that's saying something). I love Birgit's pose, her commanding stare and presence in the shot, the makeup and hair, and the overall femme fatale vibe matched with the outdoor setting. A thumbs up from me!
