Vogue Russia February 2009 : Victoria Beckham by Solve Sundsbo

I think her face looks weird on the cover. Maybe because her eyes were hidden behind the cap too much?

I'm not sure about the cover... I like the colors and her cap but that pose is somehow weird  especially her face

Cover - good ( not very good )
I hate Victoria. Why she?
There're so many more beautiful celebs. Why did they choose her. And I hope that my favourite Vogue Russia will not use celebs for cover.
But I'm waiting to buy this issue.
It's out 22 january

I found this cover on vogue.ru, 3 hours ago (but with mobile) and I couldn't make thread. I was very surprised when I saw her on the cover

Wow  That cover is just so beautiful  And I'm very happy for her that she got another Vogue cover. I can't wait to see the other pictures.

This is truly fantastic, it goes to show that Vogue Russia knows how to do a celeb cover.I mean you got one of the most famous women in the world, and they totally turned her around in a very VR way, the hat, the scary pale skin (amazing!!)and blood red nail's. Dont think its anymore airbrushed than any of their other covers(that this is no more airbrushed than any model cover they had), she has insane cheek bones, and never seen her so pale, its impressive. She looks like a hot serial killer licking the blood of her victim, off her finger, hahah.

Oh and this reminds me of what member Les Sucetts said, in the UK V. thread, Beckham is an international celeb, and her fashion cred has skyrocketed this year. She is on this cover because Doletskaya said she loved her dress collection, and has ordered one for herself, plus her dress line was picked up by one of the most prestigious boutiques in Russia, (she is wearing her dress on the cover, even), she has turned herself into true Style Icon and imo paied her dues, she didnt just get a Vogue cover all of a sudden, this is her fifth Vogue cover, thanks for the cover.

^^I agree 100% with you:flower::heart:.....I wished they show a bit more of her eyes but this is a terrific cover for VB...the paleness is awesome as you said and I love the fact that she's getting so much recognition for her great work..she's no newbie in the fashion world...

and please let's don't start the endless debate about retouching...all mags are doing it...plus she always looks perfect in real life something you don't always find in others cover subjects:innocent:....

I'm diying to see what's inside...

Vic is absolutely beautiful, i really don't feel it's boring...

And i agree... the cheekbones are insane!!!

This is out in London, I saw it in Selfridges...I had no idea this was Victoria, but she does have an editorial inside. It's a studio shoot, I just flipped through it so I can't really comment further. I don't like Victoria or what she represents but the shoot looked nicely styled, key items of the season type thing....there's two other editorials I think, not known models to me (i.e. no Polys or Pivovarovas).

I'm.... quite shocked  Don't know how i feel about the cover, coz I still can't believe Victoria is on the cover

London? already :buzz:
I'm looking forward to seeing the content.

WOW thanks for the heads up Miu Miu, now i wonder who other two new models are...... :shifty:

oh my
I have no words! I was sp happy and proud of Russian Vogue for using models all these years and now this
I hope so much it's the last celebrity cover

the cover is actually kind of tolerable for a celebrity cover, imo.
Agreeing with everyone, hopefully Vogue Russia gets back to model covers next month.

good cover though her face looks too MichaelJackson-ed for my tastes ......
