That’s actually quite lovely, I feel like I’ve never seen her photographed editorially like this. I find it refreshing and so much more interesting. Still feels thematically appropriate to who she is, but doesn’t come across as preachy or scolding.

At that, I do like this. Appropriate for her action + age combination, much glamour would be out of place with her course. And it does look dreamy, like a fantasy movie. Much better activist cover than that Malala cover Edward put out.

It's like a fairytale version of one of those Gisele 'earth mother' covers, where Gisele went into the forest and an elf convinced her to take a shrinking potion.

It's not wow enough for a debut cover but it still nice. It's look like a cover for a fairytale book.

I'm glad that they gave her the fashion treatment. It's still better than some serious b&w photos that magazine love to use when the cover subject is an activist.

The fairytale approach works but it screams too G-rated for me. She’s 18 now and this looks as if they’re trying to make her appeal to 5-10 year olds. Also, the clothes look ill-fitting and I’m sure it’s not because of her sitting position.

Probably at her own request lol, the only teenager on this planet that up until 16, 17 only wanted to refer to herself as a ‘child’ ‘children like me’, and had zero issues at being surrounded by toddlers in her rallies.

It’s surprisingly a lovely cover.. I don’t see fairytales, just nature..? love the lighting too, and kind of enjoying that they didn’t opt for an angle looking straight into the camera, it’s less confrontational and more like a quiet reminder of what she’s been about from the very beginning.

This is simple but not empty. It's cleverly done, not obscuring Greta but drawing in more people than if they had done a portrait like they did with Malala. I think it's an interesting cover.

This reminds me of 2 bucks cosplay for Eva Herzigova / Vogue Italia cover mixed with Disneyish stuff Annie Leibovitz did for US Vogue a while ago

It's actually more British Vogue under Alexandra than American Vogue for me.

It's nice enough, I guess. But not for a debut cover. Everything about the cover is so cliché. Greta, in nature, with animals and wearing gentle pastel coloured fabrics.
Very surprised that she agreed to a Vogue cover. iD I get because it's youth, but Vogue with their crass commercialism? Very odd and as off-brand for her.

Will be interesting to see which space Vogue will take up in Scandinavia. As far as I know all the magazines over there are all practical meaning nothing edgy or no storytelling......and strangely enough....ageless.

I'm also getting British Vogue vibes, but it's Edward for me. Lovely image, it's very dreamy and serene. Not at all what I'd want from a Vogue, but that's fine...
