actually it's not that late, cause there are countries where Prometheus hits theaters in August

It is however a US magazine, and taking into account the usual time it takes for W to be imported overseas... it would probably still be late. It might be for their future projects in general in all fairness, and not essentially for Prometheus. They're both pretty hot right now, so teaming them together is probably a good idea.

Maybe this will sell better now than if it had been timed with Prometheus. Many people are a lot more familiar now than a couple months ago with Charlize (also in Snow White) and Michael now that they've seen the movie.

Definitely missed the bus with these cover subjects, but it's not bad and very cinematic I suppose.
If the pic was in B&W, with the red masthead it would look almost like Sin City.
On a side note, the girl could almost literally be anyone.
