W January 2010 : Jennifer Garner by Craig McDean

there is another editorial by mcdean with sara b, siri, elsa, shu, rasa, katie, lyndsey s, lyndsey w, jacquelyn, kate k, rose, anabela, kamila, frida, and sharon k.

The cast is great particularly Shu, both Lyndsey/indsays, Jacquelyn, Anabela and Frida...but you just know that it's gonna be a 40 page piece of uninspired, isolating, straight from the runway styled, deathly blank-faced monotony like the June ed...and haven't Rose and Anabela been in these new girls/collection eds before? (June 2009 and June 2007 respectively)

jennifer garner usually bores me to tears but they made her look kinda interesting on the cover or maybe its just the Dior dress that i love:p, anyway excited to see some of my new fav girls like Frida and Jacquelyn:heart:

I see what you mean.. Besides some priceless shots, remember the one where Viktoriya was raised above the ground with something like a wooden base... some other shots looked just boring to death, done out of any excitement...
I'm really pleased by the casting and so I hope some great things will be done with it... Anabela and Rasa together could look really, really interesting...
Yes, both Anabela and Rose were featured in it previously....
I'm sure Anabela is there just to be photographed with Rasa

The cover is really bad :/ shame, i usually like this actress.

And that's a cast again: Rose, Frida, Anabela, Katie, Lindsey W, Sara... can't wait to see that now!

^ i agree, i like Jennifer, but this cover is just boring as hell.

What a mess of a cover, does anyone else think she looks a bit like Alexa Chung?

Everything about the cover is seriously unappealing, but Jennifer's ed is okay. I love the styling, especially in the 3rd picture.

^^^ The ed looks okay (love the third shot, actually), but I see their golden hand of airbrushing has extended beyond cover. Shame, that. It's stylistically unappealing and Jennifer doesn't need it.

Was that the one where she was in Alexander McQueen? We all know Vika can take something dull as bricks and make it magic

Jennifer's ed is quite odd ... but I cannot express how excited I am to see Lori back on the W team after about 4 years absence ...hopefully she'll have some more eds in the coming issues!

I hate when celebs are used as models. What's the point?

How else should she or any other celebrity be photographed for their accompanying article in a fashion magazine?

Only one thing about the contents excites me, and its the feature on Marina Abramovič.

Thanks for the review surrealseven.

I''m pleasantly surprised at how much I like Jennifer's editorial. She looks gorgeous in the close up shots.
