Second of all this is trying WAYYYYYY too hard to be controversial. It looks forced and kitsch. The photography is boring and the styling is awful!!

Besides Steven Klein will never be Steven Meisel! I don't know why he tries so hard to be him!

I would say it's too early for us to have another Steven photo portfolio, and
the shots arent that great though, very usual Klein style.

By the way, I don't think Klein is trying to be like Meisel, they actually doing very different things.

She is a very cute actress, i'm quite surprised that she got the cover and an edit like this.She really is a wrong choice of a celeb, its not just Klein, he can do controversial well, but she doesnt pull it off, and looks well ridicilous in most shots.At least its a new fresh celeb though.

I don't know this Ginnifer Goodwin at all...

Are those pictures going to feature in the magazine, I mean is it the final editorial, because it certainly looks like outtakes !

I really like Ginnifer and think she's an underrated actress, so kudos to her for landing a W cover. The first pic is alright (and hopefully they use that for the cover), but she looks soooo uncomfortable and awkward in all the other pictures. What were they thinking?!

I love that Ginnifer is getting a major cover she is so very talented but this does not tap into her appeal at all. I agree with MMA, Klein has gotten boring and predictable with his imagery. It doesn't shock me nor does it particularly appeal to me either. Its just...tired.

When I saw the thread title I thought. "Oh cute! New actress on a major magazine cover, making her debut." Expecting to see her like she was in Walk The Line.


Then I saw the cover. Oy! She looks really uncomfortable in some of the shots, I think Klein needs to remember not everyone is as easy as, say, Madonna. This is so not what I think of when I think of Ginnifer
