Must say I quite like the 2nd cover. It's very creative and she looks every bit the droid there. But I'm baffled that Tonchi would give Katy a cover after the state she's been in. And her big Vogue cover in May. No sense.

Seriously? What is that first cover? Secondhand embarrassment galore!! All of this is a definition of try hard!

The cover shot looks like a still from a music video where she's been caught mid-song.

And enough with these not-very-nice short haircuts that people are sporting at the moment.

Or maybe this particular look is the Prada of hair, and I'm just not getting the point of the deliberate ugliness.

So the first cover looks like it's the only one, newsstand version? What a shame. I do like the edit. It's that neo-noir/Atomic Blonde feel that Klein captured perfectly. And that shot of the boots is perfection. Just a pity it had to be wasted on Katy Perry.

I love this! I'm a sucker for Klein. He can do no wrong in my eyes.
What I don't like about the cover is the wonky eye. If it wasn't for that, it would have been perfect.

I don't get the Katy hate. And I hear her songs constantly on the radio and they are pretty catchy as well.
