What can I wear it with? (December 2003 - March 2010)

Hmm. So I have a dress that I love, but it's white and it tends to look like a nightie when on.

Should I add a belt or something? I'm having trouble accessorizing at the moment, my brain is fried from life.

^I think it's gorgeous, fun and flirty as it is. I'd wear it with some bangles and simple black pumps.:)

I'm reposting this in hopes someone can help this time around.
I have this Proenza Schouler for Target dress (the fabric is all silk) and I need help with what kind of shoes and accessories to wear it with possibly to a wedding or dinner date.
The fit is right above my knee and it overall looks better on me than it does in this picture.

Thanks

^^ For your Proenza dress, I'd suggest going simple because the pattern [ from what I can see ] looks pretty busy. But it's an adorable dress :]]

I think metallic shoes would look the best - especially simply, round or peep-toe's. I just got these Cynthia Vincent pumps the other day && they are SO comfortable, so I'd suggest them:

&& Then for jewelry, I'd say just go really simple gold with maybe one really stand-out piece, like a great gold cocktail-y ring [ or silver, if you'd like ]:

I think a long, gold chain that you could layer, with a pair of gold hoops would look great aswell:

Hope that helped a bit!:heart::heart:

Hi, I'm wearing this and black tights (must cover up legs) to a chinese church wedding, and then later to a banquet. What shoes and accessories should i wear? I'm 5' 2" and 105lbs.

Thanks!

try it with black peep toes/ pointys or pumps with about 2 inch heel? and a lil' black clutch. i think red and black work pretty well with each other. and maybe simple earring studs. if u wear a necklace, u might draw attention away from that sexy cleavage. ;p

work it with monotones, like black or white and maybe a sling vintage handbag :) i'll go for black ballet flats or pumps too.

^aris, thanks for the karma! you're welcome.

your chanel bag is gorgeous!! -and may i add..works well with a whole array of outfits. however, im not too sure if it is best for this outift. are you going to a dinner party? because (in my opinion) there's something off about wearing a big bag to such occassions. but if it's a less formal night out then go for it! im sure you'll be able to pull it off..:flower:

(i read this again and realized i do REALLY sound like an old-fashioned granny )

I'm not totally sure if I like them that much, so feel free to say if you just think they're disgusting.

I'm into unusual color combinations.

I think the pants would look good in a preppy way, maybe with a white loose cotton shirt and simple brown loafers?
Or somehow this way:

I bought the DVF dress without the sleeves, but in White with green/navy diamond cubes - like the one with the sleeves.
I'm not a dress kind of girls and I'm not sure how to wear it - what shoes, bags?

^ not sure about the bag...
but strappy black high heels would look nice... with wayyy thinner straps then the ones in the pic.. they'd be simple but classy..

Thank you - you are right !- I would wear it with a white bag with the black strappy heels.

I need opinions from all the fashionistas out there- I'm going to a swanky wedding in Greece in early September and need ideas for shoes and accessories for this dress. I don't think I need a necklace- maybe some cool earrings and some kind of strappy heel? This is stressing me out because I really want to look good because I haven't seen some of these people in over 10 years...any help/suggestions would be very much appreciated!

^ maybe pale blue/purple earrings to bring out the pattern colors? and soft yellow/gold shoes?

just some suggestions.
