What can I wear it with? (December 2003 - March 2010)

I am quite pale-((kind of a typical english with rosy cheeks!!)) I am going to be the godmother so I think I would have to be quite dressy, but I haven't been to many christenings before so thats why I need advice :flower:

It's a beautiful dress, boho  That neckline is screaming for a gorgeous necklace as Soft suggested, although I might suggest you wear a tank under it for the Christening given that it's plunging. Just a thought since you'll be in a church. I don't think you'd need the tank for every occassion :flower:

I just went to a Christening in a rather fancy church and your dress is perfect. The Godmother at the one I went to was wearing a black pencil skirt, oxford button down and pointy toed slingbacks just to give you an idea.

i too like the idea of gold/wood accessories !
if i was you though
i'd def. go for jade & turquoise accessories . .

Aww, the pics gone :( Anyway thanks for all the great ideas-much appreaciated :flower:

besides jeans...what type of skirt or dress?

stevialyse, I can see those worn with a plain black skirt on the short side, a light earth-toned tank, and a Dries Van Noten-type ruffled capelet or grey checked waistcoat. Good luck! :flower:

Oooh.. that's beautiful, Buggy

I think you have lots of options with that. The obvious being jeans, but others:

- Under a velvet jacket is perfect for this fall
- Belted with a colorful ribbon in satin
- a plain bottom in any color really, but gray or burgundy would be lovely as well as black. Shapes could be a full skirt, pencil skirt, culottes :woot:, wide leg pants, skinny pants... anything I guess  I would just keep the texture plain since the top has its own. Although a satin would be really pretty with it for dressy occasions...

Enjoy :flower:

PS - a nude or black cami underneath, too ;)

Pretty! I also picture flowy skirts or dresses with it. Kind of boho meets Victorian :flower:

i recently bought a fantastic blue silk evening dress from the oasis sale. its like, powder blue to cornflower? and i need to know what colour accessories would go best.
my first thought was white, but then i rethought that one and.. maybe silver?

Yes, I like the idea of silver or pewter ... metallic evening shoes are fun :) I also remember seeing some Manolo pastel embroidered suede mules that would've worked for day or evening ...

Hey guys, I've run into a bit of a style dilemma so I'll post my question here:

Last year I bought an Undercover t-shirt, it's black with a print of a Buddha with its eyes censored, very cool print which is why I bought it. However, since this year I've changed my style somewhat in that I'm wearing mostly slim pants, the t-shirt looks weird when matched with the rest of my wardrobe as the t-shirt is kind of oversized - long and loose fitting, drapey almost. So I was wondering what kind of stuff can I wear this t-shirt with? Sounds like an odd question as it's such a basic piece, but I was stuck on it...and I don't want to waste the t-shirt by letting it sit as I like it a lot. I was thinking wearing it with a pair of baggy Yohji charcoal trousers, perhaps? Any suggestions are welcome and much appreciated!

 Be brave!! I think red goes with everything :D

FTB - the T sounds very cool!! Like the idea of the Yohji pants. Would you lose the effect of the T if you topped it with a slim fitting blazer or jacket? I think that would help to bring it "in" to match the slim pants :flower:

Curious thanks a lot for your suggestion! You have also given me an idea about the jacket...i don't have a slim fitting, more casual blazer, but i have a drapey blazer also by Yohji that I find works well with some of my slim pants, so perhaps i can try that mixing it with that too to give it some structure and balance, as wearing just the tee with some slimmer pants can look quite awkward.

buggy, yes under a velvet [blazer?] would be great :woot: .. i'm seeing this with a pencil skirt (maybe in those bold colors suggested) ....some hot HIGH heels.. slim jeans and bold flats.. anything cause it's just gorgeous

cdg inspired skirt...
havent bought it yet.. but if i do..
what kind of shoes should i wear?
i dont want flats.. motorcycle boots??? im clueless
