^ a slip within a slip? :P
anyways, am wearing my slip with skinny jeans and a cropped jacket today. and heres the weird part- i'm wearing that at work :)

well if it was slightly see thru thats the only thing i would say that would keep the look without having to add other elements

i got a black neglegie thats just too pretty to keep confied to the nedroom. how do i wear it outside? with jeans? Its got spaggeti straps, a bit of lace near the bust area and then really slinky fabric (dont know what exactly it is.. its not silk coz silk is not see through, but its not net either. its not blatently see through, but if you held it up against the sun, you could definately see though it) that falls till about knee length.
If i were to wear it as a dress, what kind of undergarments to wear?

I'm in love with the look of negligee slips over a tee. Plain white, grey or black is nice for a more conservative look, but for a younger look you could try a vintage style tee?

On the same subject, where can I find cute negligee slips in the UK that would be appropriate for daywear?!

what goes with a baby doll frock that comes till mid thigh - do we wear tights with pumps, or are leggings with flats ok too?

and 11minutes - didnt quite get what you were saying there.....

The dress is very nice! I love it! If you do not like your legs you can allways wear boots like these Dior boots /or simple black boots - Valentino/ and a animal print cardigan Dolce & cabbana /to add some colour/ and a black bag - Dior - it is a little too much but I love that bag!

P.S. I wax my arm hair and it feels very clean and nice!

I have a party to go to next week and I just bought these shoes. I have never worn red shoes before and I am not sure what colour dress to go for. Any ideas? Thanks.

Belleza- i would wear some wedges like these Christian Louboutins or These Giuseppe Zanottis.

bergdorf.com

belleza- I'd wear it with flat black sandals, or for winter, with flat black knee boots, black tights and a long black cardigan.

I think it's too short to be worn with heels

bettygem-I think those are too chunky to be worn with a dress. I'd try them with jeans

Bettygem - 1st of all i love these shoes they are beautiful. You can wear a dress like this Diane von Furstenberg or this Marc Jacobs dress or something like this Tracy Resse bubble dress with a cardigan.

Thanks lamalone i'll keep an eye out for shrugs (never heard that term before hehe) and those shoes are super cute

aris i'd never really thought of wearing boots with it, maybe i'm ignorant but I'll definitely try it :) I just hope it doesn't accentuate my knobbly knees..:D

i LOVE that dress, really adorable. if you are in a warm climate I would just wear it very simply with a pair of black or brown ballet flats and maybe some simple gold jewelery (although I think no jewelery is quite a good look right now). if you are in a cold climate, then I would through on a pair of opaque wool tights, simple ballet flats, and a slightly oversized grey cardi.

Bettygem: I would wear them like this, First pic bettygem's own (hope it's OK), rest: N-A-P, except for last two; asos.
