What can I wear it with? (December 2003 - March 2010)

^A plain white tank top or t-shirt, worn-out ankle boots, fringe clutch, Minnetonkas, gladiators, a chunky knitted sweater...I could keep going. Cool skirt!

Perfect Ida. Love the white tank top idea. I'd recommand some neglaces and a black cardigan. Boots sound terrific but brown sandals would work too I think.

omg paperheart i would wear that skirt with EVERYTHING! i love it. oversized print/band t-shirts tucked in with the sleeves rolled up... plain vests... structured bust tops, you know like with cups? definitely some platform ankle boots, and i can see it with gladiators that go quite high up the leg as well...

@ paperheart; really nice skirt and i join the suggestions from ida. keep it simple because the skirt will work for itself.

@ laurelstovall; I think you can pull of a maxi dress for a wedding and look for something printed and not white then. kneelength is also nice but i like the maxidress more because kneelength sometimes get so 'safe'

i have this full blousy shirt that's navy silk with white pattern and i have no idea what color/style pants or shoes to wear with it. I love the color navy in clothes but it's tricky because i never know if brown or black or gray or what goes with it. those neutrals seem to drab it down. maybe white trousers, but then i'm stuck on shoes. (would have to be work/office appropriate)

fashionista-ta: I love those Choos (gimme gimme!), the black and gold would give the dress an extra kick/exotic touch. It's an afternoon wedding, so I know I want to incorporate some gold and the black wouldn't be too harsh against the dress.

missophisticated: Loving those on the top right corner! I really do think the gold will pop that bright olive green, I have dark hair too, so it will all work pretty well. Those accessories are super perfect! I love that layered star necklace - so simple. BTW, I love your blog - TONS. GG is pretty much my lifesaver. hahaha
