McGill is a great University for Undergraduate, Pre med, Graduate and Doctorate studies. Afterall, McGill is the Harvard of Canada ;) :p

Actually, despite what McGill students think, that title is, and always has been reserved for UofT (U. of Toronto)!

Concerning the Canadian Ivy League questions, there are only a handful of schools that, if there ever were one, would qualify: UofT, McGill, UBC, Queens... in that order B)

Went to Wagner in Staten Island, NY for Business Management, then took a few classes at Parsons for Fashion Merchandising.....

bennington college in bennington, vt.

small liberal arts college for artists in the woods.

if you've seen or read the rules of attraction, "camden" college was actually bennington. bret easton ellis went there back in the eighties. just to give you an idea of the school. it's not really like that anymore, though. i mean, we still have the "dress to get screwed" and other such theme parties, but overall, the place has changed significantly in the past twenty years.
Can't you make your own grades?

Art Institute of Pittsburgh (Graduated)
School of Visual Arts (Current)

McGill University - undergraduate in management majoring in finance

Don't know where to go for my MBA...

I just graduated from the University of Toronto and will return in September for med school.

I don't know much about the actual place but I have a strong suspicion that New Hampden College in Donna Tartt's The Secret History is also based on Bennington College.

I go to the University of Toronto in Canada, I love the city but hate the school, I guess you can't always win....
I'm majoring in bioethics, renaissance history and minoring in philosophy
(ps I like this thread, it makes everyone seem so real, now I just wish someone cool went to my school)

I hear ya, it's almost depressing looking at a group of UofT students. I cringe at the sight of (almost) every girl there --> they seem to be really into the whole "look at me, I'm different" look. I think they forget they're just as different as the rest of the girls haha...

I'm double majoring in Ethics, Society, & Law and Christianity & Culture there B)

I need to decide what colleges I want to apply to- my prep school stresses picking your junior year so that you can work for what they want. I'm thinking either pre-med or international studies. I'm looking at Yale, Georgetown, Oxford, St. Andrews, NYU, Ole Miss (I can go for free and they have an international relations school), UCLA, USC. What would you recommend? I have an interview for Oxford and possibly NYU in November and I want to be a bit more sure....

for international relations you should look at georgetown of course, johns hopkins, upittsburgh and the ivies. for premed i would say the ivies, hopkins, emory, stanford and the uc schools, they all have very rigorous pre-med classes. i really don't know about the schools overseas but that's what i know about the schools here in the states. if you're not serious about pre-med then don't take the classes because it'll kill your gpa if you don't do well (speaking from experience). good luck! :flower:

Its so true, I'm in one of the libraries right now and when I look around it makes me want to cry... Somehow U of T didn't get anywhere near the quotient of normal/fun people as other schools. If I see one more invicta napsack or full Aritizia outfit I'm going to scream
