-A very 50's navy & white polka-dot 1 piece bathing suit & matching cover-up
-Versace red makeup case (to match my duffel)

:woot:

A modernist turquoise ring- narrow and square in the front. It is the prettiest sky blue, with only a small dark yellow inclusion on the side

- was treated to a $450 lunch  it's a good thing i don't live that kind of lifestyle, because i just about had a heart attack when i saw the bill...

- Oat Fudge Bar and Java Chip frappucino from Starbucks

- one movie ticket to see MEAN GIRLS

I spent the day out shopping with my mum and her boyfriend and we got some major "investment" pieces. I'd been eyeing this gorgeous set of chandeliers for years and years, and she finally got me one! To go in my room, which has just been redone. I think it's the most incredibly beautiful thing, with these delicate metal leaves and bits of crystal. Not heavy looking at all, like most chandeliers, and it will look so, so stunning with my deep purple walls. Luxurious, almost...
Also, a table lamp in simple black and silver. It's all going to be really lovely when everything has finally been put together. And I will definately post pictures when everything is finished!
On a slightly less exciting note, I got two pairs of plain jeans, since my old ones were getting a bit blah.
It's been such a fantastic shopping day overall! :buzz:

pretty good shopping weekend:

-carmel colored Luella large Giselle holdall for my mom for mother's day
-a pair of basic light colored PDC straight leg, slim jeans
-a pair of Booth & Bruce (new English eyewear company) black eyeglasses
-weeks supply of gum
-Smith and Hawken canvas gardening tote (not that I garden)

6-pack Early-Girl tomato seedlings
2 single Roma tomato seedlings
1 cherry-tomato seedling
18 Everbearing Strawberry starts
4-pack banana-pepper seedlings
2 small asparagus ferns

1 pkt. Paintbrush mixed color Zinnias
1 pkt. liliput mixed color Zinnias
1 pkt Dahlia flowered mixed-color Zinnias
(what??? I needed more zinnias!)
1 pkt. Gartford's mixed-color Icelandic poppies
1pkt. McKana's giant mixed-color Columbines
1pkt. Scott Elliott mixed-color Columbines
1 pkt "Everlasting Flowers" mix--for dried flowers! (Love-in-a-mist, Larkspur, Oriental Nigella, Strawflower, hHelipterum, Bells of Ireland, Statice, Love Lies Bleeding, Winged Everlasting, Globe Amaranth.

I think I might be the only tFS member who can impulse-shop at a home-and-garden shop. Honestly I only went in there for tomato seedlings.

I also did my Mother's Day shopping and got my mom a bottle of her favorite Crabtree & Evelyn sandalwood cologne and got my dad a couple of cool books on custom motorcycles for his birthday. I had a very successful shopping day, actually.

It really is- just looking at the picture on the side of the box makes me sigh...
Those pictures may not be coming for a while though, since the whole thing still needs to be assembled and put up. And there is no way I will be able to do it myself. Maybe I can sneak it out of the box for a bit though and drool over it.

Also, I just realized I haven't gotten my mum anything for mother's day yet!

Shoot, shoot, shoot... :censored: :hardhead:
