What is your worst buy?

P.Peach said:
I'd say my prom dress, but who am I kidding? I still wear it around the house sometimes :ninja:

me too!! haha... it cost more then a lot of wedding gowns, and every time i try to wear it to a function, i look at it and am like "its so prom, i can't wear this!" although when i begged my mom to buy it for me (this is like 5 years ago) im like oh ya ya... ill wear it lots of times bc its black, ya right wore it just that one time... awful.

As for my worst buy?? A light pink chanel quilted tote. It was filthy dirty in a matter of weeks. Still to this day i kick myself for not buying black... now everytime i see it at the store something in me wont let myself buy it!! Damn conscience!

dior homme al13 sunglasses that were impulsively purchased online. i don't wear them enough to justify what i paid for them. never buying sunglasses without trying them on again.

Probably an Ann Demeulemeester pony hair belt that I'm afraid to wear, which is why it's on eBay right now.

a cavalli sweater that is funky and backless but you have to wear it without a bra and it is more sheer than i realized so you either a. look like a p*rn star and go braless or b. put something under it and ruin the effect of the back of the sweater.. was a damn fortune...

also a Tuleh dress that I loved but my boyfriend says is horrendous so I never wear it. It is black silk with blue stars and a halter neck.. but it folds over/is slouchy at the waist (has elastic) so he says I look like a grandma....

hmm i probably would have to say

my marc jacobs stella bag...

i can't believe i got it. it's cute and i love it... but it's not really worth that much money.

- A super-tight weird Marc Jacobs dress I bought on sale (wore it once but than saw my reflection in the shopwindow and turned back home to change)

- A nylon prada bag
- A burberry checked bag that I am ashamed to wear cause there are too many fakes
- Plastic dior cuffs (40euro each!) i was 14
- A see by chloe tanktop, i love it, but i try not to think it cost me 80 bucks

Worst buy: When I was in highschool in the mid-1990s, I bought this bodysuit because I LOVED the flower print on it, but it was WAY too low-cut, and made me feel self-conscious and sl*tty every time I wore it. I think I wore it about 4-5 times. I still have the cursed thing, too, as a reminder to myself not to buy stupid things.

ugg boots...for $180!
gucci shades...for $175!
some laurel canyon paige denim jeans...
those are the biggies.

It's a love-hate relationship right now..but currently my worst buys would be my pair of suede pair Lanvin flats for Fall, I have broken so many blisters trying to break this pair of shoes in.

But that's always my problems with new shoes, somehow I will always suffer a lot of blisters before I can break them in :ninja:

Killah Skinny jeans that were too big for me.. I didn't want to realise that.. They were too big & short as size 31 for my 30/34 legs. Luckyly they were on sale , only around 50 euros but really not worth even that money..

My worst buys aren't necessarily high end purchases--I am pretty happy with those (I choose carefully).
But my worst are just clothes from Department stores that I think I'll wear for work and then never end up wearing. All that money adds up to a nice high end purchase!

Well, right now my Hollywould jeweled ballets that I can never wear because a stone is perpetually falling out, are a strong contender ... I have to ship them back--again ... :yuk:

Frankie B jeans. It was too late to return them when I reliased I could barley walk without half my butt hanging out. Also a horrible see by chloe mini dress, haven't worn it once, not sure what I was thinking...

Thats always my problem with shoes , no matter how cheap or expensive they are (my grandmother used to say thats the shoe walking me in insted of vice versa) .

I have two Marc Jacobs coats I never get to wear....A lot of items in general I don't have use for in my current life style.
Worst: Maybe a white hologram snake print vinyl trench coat I got in LA from a label called Product. This was in 1995. It was hot then - In this sort ab fab way. And it was friggin' expensive! My mom has it now.......

too many to mention...but the first thing tat comes to mind is my Dsquared sweater vest...

- CdG vintage blazer with shoulder pads and roomy fit. That wide fit just doesn't work on me, but I liked the cool details so I bought it anyway.

- CdG vintage patchwork floral shirt. Again, the roomy vintage CdG fit was my doom. I love the shirt, but the 50-inch chest is waaaay too big. I still have this one; I'm thinking I'll find a good tailor and try to get it converted to a slimmer fit.

- Mustard-yellow Doc Marten's (long ago before DMs became so commonplace; they were 75% off and I already had black ones, but I really should have paid full price for a better color)

- Nifty LED watch from Japan. Very cool, but the face is huge and I have very small wrists. I never wear it because it's too big. It's about time I eBayed it.
