Nothing fancy for me either. Red, leather flats from New Look at work.

Red Adidas sneakers with orange stripes when I walked to and from work.

New Look flats are so comfy. They are my work staple. Cheap enough to not worry about breaking them!

I've been wearing Primark gladiators all day. Umm, yea, not so classy over here.

That's true! Hehe. But they're actually quite well made and sturdy for costing just £25.
I bought a couple of them (regular leather) in November 2006, and they don't have any scuffs or marks on them yet. The suede ones are a little bit worse for wear though. I have a tendency to walk "outside" the shoe, if you know what I mean? So the shape is not the same now. Hehe.

And as for the "not so classy" comment,- as long as the shoes don't scream cheap and they don't hurt your foot, who cares? As long as they look good and you like them. :D

Sorry for the OT...

I always deform my ballet flats, hence why I refuse to pay more than £30 for a pair!

The shoes I have on, actually don't look cheap, considering how little they cost! They are so comfortable too, probably my staple summer shoe

I do think some Primark shoes can be comfy but the biggest problems with them are a. the chance of wearing the same shoes with quite a lot of people is very high (and sometimes you really don't want to have anything in common with some of those people who wear the same shoes as you), b. the sole is so slippery (and it'd seem silly to pay nearly 20 quid to have the shoes professionally resoled when the shoes themselves might not even cost that much).

I wish I could wear New Look shoes. Unfortunately their size 5 is hardly big enough for me and their size 6 is a bit too big. (My awkward feet have the same problem with Zara shoes.)

Good points. I've never bought shoes from Primark myself, and if I did I wouldn't see them as much as you probably do since I live in Norway. Hehe. But I totally see your point. If you reaaaaaally like a pair I think it would be worth to have them resoled though. But that is if you can't live without them. Don't really see that happening, but you never know...hehe.

As for the New Look sizes,- I normally wear a size 3, but I have to get 4 at NL and they're a bit big. They should make half sizes. So I don't think it's just you. :D
