Wow! It seems like j12, cartier and franck muller are really HOT! Does anyone here happen to like chaumet, piaget, vacheron, IWC, philippe charriol...etc?? :ninja:

Hot and hot...

The question was "what is your dream watch". I love Piaget and IWC and all, but I'd love to have a Cartier Tank Americaine (because I love the perfect proportions) in white gold, but it's out of my price range. Even if I could afford it in gold, I'd prefer it in steel because I prefer the look of steel compared to gold. Or a Jaeger-LeCoultre Gran Sport maybe.

My current watch is a Nomos, and I love it; it's classic and very, very discreet. Few people recognize it, and if they do it's because they're watch buffs...

Unique taste of rectangular watches you have. Mind posting a picture of your nomos? I would very much like to see what its like. ^_^

Why of course one that makes sure I'm never late. Or better yet one that can control the space-time continuum.

But lacking that I’d love a Hermes Kelly watch – or whatever the ones are called that look like little padlocks hanging off the strap.

COOL!!!

thank you for the answer gingerale, that's about what i thought. i guess it will be my next watch purchase. can't wait!

Well my first choice is a Rolex Stainless Steel Daytona... but seeing as to there is about a $5000 mark-up right now, my second choice is a Panerai... 40mm chrono if I can find it.

Or maybe the limited edition Cartier Pasha with the chrono.

I love the look of the IWC Big Pilot watch.. if they made a slightly smaller version I'd definitely want it!

I love rectangular watches, but this is round... The colours look very flashy on the pic, it's more discreet irl:

my dream watch is the watch my grandpa wore all his life. I don't know what happened to it when he died or who got it but its gone now. That makes me really sad. I wish I had it.

I have two dream watches:

One I have; Vintage Omega Seamaster de-ville, solid gold with perl face. Hand wind up motion.

Thanks for the pic tott! :D

Your right its a discreet watch. It does somewhat resemble a classic patek philippe. It caught my interest and ive done a lookup on it. Its called "Nomos Orion - Blue Hands" and its a german made precision good watch. Nice!

Nice choice on the IWC. ^_^
