Hi! Sorry - didn't quite know where to put this...

I'm from Australia and I've been rorted by an American online-clothing company. I was looking for some advice on who to contact and file consumer complaints with?

The website is www.label-la.com and they used a picture of the Meghan Noland cami as worn by Rachel Bilson on the OC (i.e. it had lots of lace and appliques) which I am obsessed with, however they sent me the ready to wear version which I think is hideous (minimal lace and appliques). I had confirmed with them prior to purchase that I'd be getting exactly what was pictured. I told them it was misrepresentation and effectively bait & switch and they admitted to using the wrong pictures and that they'll change the pics (they've changed them now) but they can't refund paypal purchases due to their 'policies' (and I repeat - they KNEW they were in the wrong. I've got all emails and pics saved!)

The whole transaction has been a stressful ordeal and I'll never EVER deal with them again nor do I recommend them!

I've filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission, Paypal (who don't deal with misrepresentation issues outside of eBay) and my bank but I want BLOOD for all the distress they've caused me  so any advise on who else to contact would be appreciated!

TIA

Have you tried the Department for Consumer Protection?

You might also try posting about them online to warn others ... you want a Google on them to bring up some of your comments :D

It means to rip you off or misrepresent what they are selling.
