But If I were to try to say who WAS the greatest- probably cristobal Balenciaga.

i would'nt even name my favorite.
IMO there can be no reasonable response to this question.
unless a criteria is establish for us to judge designers everything else will be a matter of opinion

Matter of fact , I will attempt to formulate a series of principles by which we can attempt to come up with a conclusion
