Why Do Some Designer Bags Go On Sale & Not Others?

Ok everyone here is the truth about the burning of LV bags. I have a friend who works for the company. THis is inside info so i've heard. THey do have special sales for the employees, but whatever is left over is burned. Yes horrible but true.

Aren't they letting go of potential sales by not marking it down? Granted less sales but still getting some money off of it. It seems to me that they would or they
wouldnt even sell to employees at a discounted price.

I don't see how it's wasteful since most of those bags, etc are sold anyways.

Hermes destroys every single item that has a defect. As does various companies like OMAS for pens, and watchmakers.

I think throwing anything useable away is wasteful - it should be recycled or given to someone as a gift at least. Its a bad attitude to have in our day and age.
