The maxi dress in Post #12,456 gets a Yay! from me. I actually like the pattern and the whole design of the dress. I don't think the design is horrid to where I wouldn't recommend it. I think it's a fun dress. I don't think this dress would be fully wearable from sunrise to a night out on the town at a formal or semi-formal function. Find a good pair of sandals or maybe some espadrilles, and you're set!

Now on to Post #12,459 and because one chic handbag/purse isn't good enough, there are two. For the first one... I'm going to have to sadly (somewhat) Nay! this one. Not digging it too much. As for the Chanel bag... your screenname is ChanelLove, and so I'm going to show some love for that Chanel bag. So tab me for Yay! for that bag.

yay to the AA dress... i agree with you... i like the minty green/white combo but you'll be able to get a lot more wear out of the navy and will be able to coordinate it better

I'm going to Yay! the American Apparel dress in Post #12,164. I looked up the American Apparel webpage for this dress, and noted it comes in four different color combinations. The ones posted are Shiny Mint/White and Cobalt/Navy. The Shiny Mint/White is pretty fun and adaptable. Not only do I like the Cobalt/Navy combination, the model wears the Cobalt/Navy dress with white tights and pink pumps. That's a cute look in my view. It also comes in Coral Ice/Nude, which is a VERY daring color combination. And when every other color fails, there's always Black.

So if I had to choose color combinations, the Shiny Mint/White combination may be the most versatile. The Cobalt/Navy combination is nice, but I do like the pink pumps to go with it. If you go with the white tights and pink pumps look for the Cobalt/Navy dress, go for it. Of course, you can always ditch the tights (even if fashion rules require leggings or tights). A good accessory (like a belt or a sash can add some extra color to the look.



Anyhow, yay. Go get that dress because I really like it!

Okay, so I went to Topshop and Dorothy Perkins today to try on some stuff. And although I'm almost broke, I need to get a new pair of jeans.

Seems like a lot of ground to cover... jeans, a top, and two dresses.

I'll start with Post #12,469. Are these skinny or slim jeans? The jeans will get a Yay! from me. The dress is next. I'll Yay! this as well. Though not entirely in love with the top, it's a Yay! So three items... three yay's. Epic win!

Finally, the other dress (Post #12,473). Always remember that I'm not hateful of maxi dresses, so no need to remind me that they aren't maxi length. The overall style of this dress is very nice to me. So put me down for Yay! for this dress.
