My all time favourite is without a doubt State of emergency, the main editorial of the September 2006 issue of Vogue Italia, shot by Steven Meisel, featuring Iselin and Hilary Rhoda.

Such a controversial and powerful editorial. Probably the most debated and talked about editorial in recent years. Just plain brilliant! And by the way; Iselin should have had the cover, not Hilary. I'm still bitter about that after two years. Heh.

Totally agree.Hilary is great as well ,but Iselin was SO GOOD in that edit.

I really can't give an answer in this thread ,I love too many editorials.

i like everything in that ed: mood, concept, models, clothes, hair, even photoshop. and i must say basically, i don`t like all what Mert and Marcus doing... but this is just woah....

there are lot of missing pics( with only shadows. eyes, some details where you cant even recognize the model)

my favorite is of daria for paris vogue. i can't remember the month or photographer though. i foolishly ripped this vogue apart. its not the entire editorial but its most of it.
