Your Splurges And Steals

When it comes to shopping, what are you more willing to spend money on? What are your splurges, and your steals?

An example:

I splurge on my swimsuits, but never on my beach cover ups.

I splurge on my foundation, but stick to drugstore make up when it comes to eye shadows.

I splurge on my jeans, but buy inexpensive lingerie from Target.

i splurge on shoes, lingerie, and weekend attire (cashmere, dresses, great pants...) i save on my work attire.... my husband would say i splurge on everything though.... i do try to save on my everyday clothing though.

I try not to splurge, I actually feel guilty for spending over $30...

i splurge on handbags and shoes, but i save on clothing. i think first before buying whether this cloth is worhed or not.

I splurge on at least one good lipstick or lipgloss colour that I can wear everyday. I also splurge on my foundation stick because I don't use it that often so it lasts a long time. I buy cheap eyemakeup though because it needs to be replaced more often. I also splurge to get my hair coloured in the salon and I normally purchase high quality styling products but I buy drug store shampoo. I go to good salons, but I always pick the cheapest stylist.

I save money on clothes, bags and shoes. I also feel guilty spending more than $30 on anything. Well, make it $40 because we're talking about Canadian currency here. I spend a bit more on business casual type clothes because they are more versatile and therefore I get more use out of them. I rarely buy trendy clothing items that won't last more than one season.

I splurge on handbags, and accessories in general...but I'm most indulgent with handbags. With clothing, I always look for deals, but I'm also willing to splurge on nice outerwear.

I always want to splurge...hehe. But generally I steal on accessories, especially ones I consider to be very trendy or something I don't thiget a I won't get a lot of wear out of. I splurge more on items that I think are more classic and that I can update or change with other items.

+ splurge: handbags, accessories, cameras , lingerie, & sometimes a designer piece of clothing.

+ steal: music CDs (who needs 'em when you've got mp3's on KaZaa ) & TV shows (i don't have the patience to wait for season 5 of SATC to come out on DVD)

My biggest splurges are on handbags.
I'm just way too addicted. can't help it
also shoes, clothes, makeups, skincare products....etc.

steal: I always manage to find a great bag or a pair of shoes for a good price....but then again...it's all relative ;-)

I splurge on expensive jeans, handbags, and coats - things that get wear every single day.

steals are accessories such as costume jewellry and shoes, especially vintage.

I spend money on knitwear, I've come to realise. Wool, cashmere, cotton. I use it all the time so I think it's wise. I also like to spend on shoes, and outerwear like a great coat or down jacket or something. And bags.

What I generally don't spend big amounts on is socks and jeans/pants, for some reason.

Splurge - Kids designer clothes/shoes, handbags, shoes(shoes not by choice, big footed!)

Steal - clothes, tops (TKMaxx) so not really cheap, but past season designer gear

Splurge: Outerwear (definately.. I own so much its pitiful)

Steal: PJs.

I get alot of my basics at Salvation Army.. you can find such great designer pieces there if you really look... and then I fill in with some outrageously expensive things.
