i like the way this is photographed and styled much better than some previous seasons...
they do an effective job of showing the clothes, which is good...

it's consistent with the Y's lexicon---perhaps even moreso than the past couple of seasons...
can't say i am particularly drawn to any of the items or looks, but i'll reserve judgement until i am able to see them in person...

this looks fantastic! that tweedy,slouchy overcoat is so classic and yummy. i like that one shot where the lace hem meets the doc martens. those last two looks are great too.

Yohji strikes again. ♡ I love the double-breasted overcoat and the asymmetrical-hem pinafore dress. The other items seem a little typical of Y's, perhaps, but they can't be faulted off the top of my head.

Agree that it's beautifully shot...
I really like the colorway, it reminds me of the mediterranean.
and yes, luckyme, I thought of travel too, although more in the
sense of "traveling clothes," than a particular destination.

i love the last knit in post 4, and of course the pants in the very first look.

from the annual kyoto event for promoting kimono and fashion.

they featured Y's this year.
usually they do the show twice on the day.
that's why we see the daytime runway and the evening one in the images.
not like people tend to move slowly in that ancient city (they do talk slowly though) nor time flies particularly there.

i have to say, the clothes look far more appealing and cool in all these images...
i suspect a lot of it has to do with the lovely models.
And the colors look so vibrant and gorgeous in that setting.
