It's totally opposite here in Australia, there's no YSL boutique and the department stores here are not carrying it. So it is hard to get one here apart from order online from NM or Saks.

So I'm blessed by the fact that not many girls here carry it. In fact I saw only one girl carry her xl chocolate muse and let's me tell you it did look gorgeous on her

i would hope if i got one, then no one around here would have it as well. i started seeing fake stams on the weekends when we get tourists down here shopping. makes me ill!!!!

i have a question for you gals (once againblush: i was browsing the muses online and saw the oak and khaki. is the khaki more green and the oak like a brownish green? the color samples on the sites were off and didn't let me view all the colors, yet didn't explain what color the stock photo they advertised was....any help is much appreciated. i seem to remember someone pages back posting pics of an oak muse....

hmm, the best way I have to describe oak is that it's a brown that isn't that dark, but definitely still very brown. Not a red-brown at all though.

I haven't seen khaki in real life so I can't comment on that.

sorry i'm late replying, but thanks for the well wishes klow and balbabe! i'm really excited but i had some unexpected expenses for my house and i'm praying i'm going to be able to keep the patent muse! but crossing fingers that i can afford 'em all.. will definitely post pics when i get her!

jun..I've seen khaki, its definitely green with no tinge of brown to it at all. And the Oak is a brown brown, much lighter than Chocolate.

yes selfridges always has tons of bags lying around. Lots of balenciaga even when they were hard to get ahold of. Fine by me, I have only seen ONE person carrying a muse here in London at it was an XL ivory while i was at gatwick. Meanwhile, i see a paddington several times a day. blech. they make me ill.

Speaking of which, I put the final payment on my Muse today! yay!! I will be getting the black XL and I cannot wait. I'm going to use it was a book bag as it should be large enough to hold my laptop. Finally! After all this time

Hi Geek-chic, the Ivory Muses have a Dark almost Black Satin lining. Mine didn't come with Tags though I bought it at the boutique.

Not sure about the others.

Our store here has the last one, and I was told that it's very difficult to get stock of it from elsewhere around the world.

I want a black patent XL now, but I don't want the display. Should I waitlist myself for a new one? Who knows, it might be a display at another store somewhere across the globe anyway.

Kare - saks.com has the xl patent muse. I don't think they ship them from stores so it wouldn't be a display. Or call a YSL store, most are kept in the back and not displayed.

Kare, if the fact that it's a display bothers you, I'll suggest you wait for a new one or get a boutique somewhere else to send it to you.
I think the black patent is still easily available at this point and saks.com had them online the last I checked!
