so beautiful handbaglover! another question: is the muse heavy? can anyone give me a comparison weight? thanks a bunch. it really sucks not having a place near me where i can check out these bags in person...so i have to resort to asking a million questions like an idiot.

June - I have the XL black patent and the weight is much lighter than the paddington or MJ stam :)

So if you are after the medium or the large I'm sure you would find it much lighter than your stam.

i think after doing my research i am after the large. the oversized looks a bit big (and it's more exspensive) and i think i am really liking the size of the large bag honestly. if it's lighter than the stam, that sounds great as i dont think the stam is really all that heavy IMO.

you'll have no problem then, as know chloe said, even the xl is lighter than the stam!

so, what color ya gonna get? :p

i really like the black, because it just seems so upscale and french chic....but im looking at the oak as well....

legaldiva - The black patent does come in large, I saw one at Selfridges in London.

I recently bought the black patent in XL, for me it really is a bit too big for everyday use, apart from maybe large shopping trips. I travel a lot and I can see it being very useful for that.

I'll take some pics of mine and post them up soon.

could anyone please PM me the correct color of the authenticity cards for the muse? pretty please? TIA!

some muse inputs..

I got my patent muse in june but was on vaction until middle august and only started using it once i got back to the us. I have been using it mostly everyday since then and I have noticed that the stitching at the front and back (which is just thread) is starting to fray..and it keeps getting worse!! I am almost scared to carry it on my shoulders now. What should I do?

On the otherhand, the muse has gotten very soft since my first usage. It literally flops and falls over like a Paddington when I set it down. I love that! I'm just worried about the fraying on the stitching. Thank you for any opinions!

i have used clear fingernail polish to stop fraying and it works wonders! you can roll the thread in your fingers too after applying the nail polish to really get it to bond the fibers. (gets your fingers a bit sticky, but nothing a little nail polish remover cant fix) you probably could burn it too, but i think the nail polish idea is wasy less risky :flower:

I'm having similar issues with my medium. They are not fraying but some threads are pulling up.

red muse must be in. I got an email from saks.com that my red XL muse has shipped!
