jun, I have seen the patent IRL.
It's not high gloss, but a very discreet, muted and elegant patent, which I think suits the design of the muse very very much.
If I recall correctly, you are thinking of getting a large muse? If so, have you seen the brown patent - it's simply divine...think a chocolate brown with touches of burgundy in it

Ok...i have a question for everyone...i have a stam (black)...do you think that I should get a black muse as well...im not quite sure if the brown is as versatile as the black one...

I have 3 stams and one of them is black and I also have the XL Muse in patent and I love them all. I think they are very different in style so you clous easily have both style in black.

I think the brown is versatile too it depends on your wardrobe I think both colors are great you can't go wrong with either color.

i've decided that i.am.in.love with my patent muse! i left all the tags on just in case i decided to return, but i don't think it's gonna happen... you were right, klow-chloe - love this bag!

drel - Congratulation, I hope you decide to keep it, the black patent is absolutely gorgeous - IHMO. So far I haven't got any problem with my muse at all the stitches are fine and the patent is very easy to care and keep clean.

Btw! I have ordered the Miu Miu Coffer in brown suede I can't get my mind off that bag so I gave in

i asked aspen about her patent and she said it was pretty shiny. i dont think i can make a decision about whether i would like patent or not without being able to have it there in front of me IRL.....but i've been browsing online and stumbled upon more pics of the oak....and my god, that color is gorgeous! I THINK THAT DID IT FOR ME....the chocolate is a lil dark.....i like the black too...but the oak! *DROOL*

Klow-chloe', I know how you feel! I bought a black XL muse that was supposed to be my (only) fall bag, but I am constantly thinking of the Coffer.... Thought I could order the brown suede because of course I need a brown bag, too, right?!? Congrats to you!

here is a pic of the red muse. its more burgandy...which I dont like. why can't anyone do a great red lipstick cherry red.

the color is rich and better looking, hard to capture

guccigal is right, it's hilary's own bag, ysl doesn't show in NY...and it's a bag from last season...and she's at oscar de la renta, not ysl anyhow...

yea!!! congrats on the coffer!!!! i love both my muse and my coffer - i'll definitely be keeping the muse. love it more every day - no loose threads or scratches yet (and i've tried not to bang the bag around but for some reason i'm having problems negotiating doorways and tight turns - yea for patent!)
