the stitches that tend to come out are the decorative ones, they don't cause anything to happen to the bag structure-wise.

which muse do you want the price for? what size?

Have any of you guys noticed any negative side effects from carrying a lot in the Muse? It gets so heavy that I'm paranoid about the straps coming off or something. I'm guilty of using it to haul around schoolbooks at university.

I mostly wear outfits that ask for a black belt and black shoes. I have a very versitile black Coach tote that I use alot.

Im considering getting a dark brown or brown croc Muse.

But now...........Im thinking I might not carry it enough since I mostly wear black.

Should I just get a black one?

you have the chance to get a brown croc?! croc, by all means!!

no seriously, the chocolate muse is really dark, it's almost black anyhow, you just have to be someone like me who thinks it's great to mix black and brown.

I dont have any problem with mixing really.

Im just leaning towards the chocolate because its so pretty.

i agree, if u are someone who wears a lot of black.. esp. black belt, black shoes.. it will be PERFECT to have a brown bag just to add a lil surprise in your outfit.. i am someone who match the colors of my shoes a bag.. i think it's much better and stylish :p but it's up to you~ i think brown croc is gonna be beautiful on ur blacks!!!!!!B)

I totally sent my black patent back. I already have the leopard YSE, and I just am not obsessed with the style enough to have two different versions now.

Still looking for the perfect black bag ...

aww well. Ps - what does YSE stand for?? When I was at Marks and Spencer the other day at London Bridge (ugh, it was a terrible day and I looked like a massive hobo) there was this super chic tall black woman with a what looked like a medium or large black patent muse and it looked so pretty. I of course was hauling around my XL but i felt a bit schleppy compared to the shiny patent.

^Yse is the model name that the "leopard muse" goes by, since that's what it says on the tag.

I thought there were two types of Muse? The Yse and something else? The something else is where the Y is done on the front and back of the bag, the most common Muse. The Yse is where it's done on the two ends, wrapping around the zipper. It's hard to explain. I like the Yse much much more.

Well, since Im on the topic of Muse. I saw the official mens Muse at YSL the other day, and I can honestly say it is GROSS. EW.

yes well they aren't two types of muse, they are basically two styles of bag that are very similar. YSE and Muse. But someone correct me if i'm wrong. I know that the yse was the style name I just can't figure out what it stands for, if anything!

I noticed yesterday I have a large scratch/scuff down the front of my Muse which is quite visible. I have no idea how it happened because i'm quite careful and if i ever bump it on something I always check and i didn't feel a thing so I'm going to take it into YSL on Bond St. on thursday to get them to check it out and see if they can fix it, they said if their leather guy can't fix it they will send it back to the manufacturer which can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks. Really hope they can fix it!!

Yse is also in a hobo, no? I saw the Yse hobo. I dont even know if it's pronounceable, I say See, that makes phonetic sense. Anyways. I like the Yse way more, Im going to YSL today (uh-oh) and Ill find out for sure about this Yse and Muse business.

Did anyone also see the patchwork Muse? I passed by the YSL store and saw it. It looks like fabric though I was with a friend and she was already hungry so I didn't venture into the store.

But isn't there also the Fauve???

^^ Yes, there is. I'm excited for a clarification, too.

BTW, just got a large black muse from ebay (with all docs, tag, receipt, etc.). It's gorgeous and I got a great deal! I was a little wary, but all the details match the leopard "yse" I have, so I know it's real.

I'll post pics tonight of both.
