Slightly offtrack but I JUST LOVE that Sartorialist to bits.

I saw and fell in love with a mini muse yesterday. It came in bronze and and "pencil"-gray, so both were metallic ... and I´d like it in a go-with-all basic black. Does anyone know if there are more colours than the two metallics? Is the baby size new for this season or could I try the secondary market? Is metallic more classic than I think (i think its a trend now that will be dead like the bootcut in two seasons)?

Any thoughts on the metallic minis are appreciated!

but the mini (aka "tuxedo") is so adorable..... a friend of mine has three of them (fuchsia & blk satin, silver metallic) ... it's the perfect evening bag!

thx gg! i can't seem to find more pics of this colour anywhere and for some reason the ysl muse site never works for me (or is it supposed to be just the logo there?)

lvr is calling this the purple.. either they're replacing the name or their photo is really messed up as usual?

by the way, the lvr photo is NOT the same purple.....the first one you posted is the one I saw - the one i saw was "barney" purple. it was really adorable.....

ladies - i ordered the violet purple muse posted in #3304 in size medium from NM over the weekend. the purple is GORGEOUS. my local YSL boutique is not even going to carry the mediums at all! apparently the medium size is going to be limited. one SA told me YSL is going to discontinue the medium size (not sure if this info is accurate) and another told me only Bev Hills and NYC are going to carry the mediums.

as for the shades of purple - there are 2 shades. the "barney" purple as mentioned by bagfetish (or "light violet" as YSL calls it) as well as "black violet", a darker violet. that's the shade that is shown in the LVR pic in post #3306.

will post pics of the medium purple muse when i get it!

gg - is it possible for you to get it now? i was told by my nm SA that they are getting a lot of calls for it and stores only got like 1 or 2 in, as far as the medium purple muse is concerned. my SA also called me today as well, asking if i wanted the large muse in the dark purple shown in #3306, pic from pinky. i said why not so i think that's coming to me too. i'll be sure to take pics of both, side by side so we can all see the differences between the 2 purples. I LOOOOOVE PURPLE!!!!

gg - the boutique told me that they are doing the black violet in the oversized, the lighter violet in the large. i know for sure NM is doing the black violet in the large, and that's the size that i am getting sent to me. (though NM calls the large the "medium"....so confusing!). so if you call NM and you want the oversized, just make sure you ask for the largest-sized muse. the only thing is, i do not know if nm is getting the oversized at all in the black or lighter violet colors. i can find out if my SA calls me today with tracking info.
