the lvr pic is of the oversize, but thats the dark purple. I guess it comes in the dark purple but not barney purple?

i was told that YSL boutique is only getting the oversized in black violet and the large in the "barney" violet. neimans is getting the large in the black violet. i don't know if nm will get any oversizes in either colors. i would imagine so.... anyone seen these at saks/bergdorf/barneys?

finally, my purple muse came!! but....there are these scratches all over them. so i called around and am having another one sent to me. it better be perfect!!! anyway, i thought i would post pictures of this one in the meanwhile. i tried to capture the color as best as possible. had to play around with photoshop to get the color as close as possible.

will post pictures of the large black violet one when that one arrives too.

AAAAAHHH!!!! which bag to keep???

at long last, the black violet large muse and the vioet ("barney purple") medium muse, side by side. which one to keep??? the colors on both are SO AWESOME. the photo where the purses are sitting on the brown wooden chair is taken with natural lighting so you can see the difference in the color variation via natural lighting and flash/indoor lighting. what do you gals think? i am still awaiting for my 2nd medium violet muse, which i hope will be perfect.

the dark violet looks esp lush in the photo w natural lighting. do you think that photo is closer to the real colour than the others?

that is what I think Pinky....the darker is more lush....richer looking. Special nice color...great all year round and very fab.

pinky, the photo taken in natural lighting - that is definitely what the colors look like. i made sure i captured the colors as close as possible. indoor though, both bags are darker. i would say if you are walking in a well lit room, the colors are more like the ones taken with flash. of course, a room with fluorescent lighting will just screw the colors up.

i should really consider size first before i consider color i think... oh i don't know!!

i was just thinking about greendrv and taitai the other day. yes, where are those gals???

funny things about the 2 purples - my SA sent me the medium barney purple purse then the large came in and she swore that it was the same color. both colors are really so gorgeous but they both have a different feel to me. i will need to spend the next few days putting the bags against different outfits and see.

are any of you going to get these?? which one is on LVR again, size wise? for sure, the purple that they have on LVR is the "black violet". i don't know why in their photo the bag looks all metallicky though. their photos really suck *** IMO in terms of color balance and such.

ah, on more thing in terms of accurate coloring: i would say the photo taken in natural light and the photo at the bottom left taken with flash are the most accurate portrayal of the colors. hope that helps!
