i woke up thinking about a purple ostrich muse. i'm surely insane.

i called my s.a. at YSL ny and she invited me to an event in april where they will be offering customized muses!!! get this: you can pick from limited edition leathers and skins that they have not mass produced, and also you can get your initials on them (they only did this for celebrities )

I dreamt about the purple mombasa last night.

Pretty much the reason why I decided no...was because if I am going to fork that money out....I want to get a classic shape.

Yes, the mombasa is classic but the deer horn can make itm ore funky etc and I want something like the muse in purple ostrich.

so that is good. saves me some big bucks.

yeah lets just hope they do it one day. The would come the question. What size muse because I only like the oversized. But an oversized ostrich will be big bucks and I am thinking too big for something lifetime.

So we will see!

I am excited about the distressed patents and all that f or next season. They will do more color leathers too. So that will be great.

I am still holding out for Fendi to do a deep purple spy...maybe even an ostrich spy!

Like the cherry spy was OKAY but not like wow.

guccigal! congrats on making a decision about the ostrich mombasa! i am sure you have made the right decision to not get the bag for the time being. you do have many other lovely bags that you just received recently so they definitely need your attention!

i did not dream of any handbags, but i was hoping to wake up to find on the DHL status page that the grey bfendi is sitting at my local dhl facility- it is not, which means i will get it tomorrow (or thursday??). bah!!

i've been DYING for purple spy too, and had no idea other women are wanting the same!!!! we should write to fendi and put in a request. a perfect shade of purple spy would be soooooo lovely.

I agree. I tried the ostrich mombasa before the ostrich muse became available. I declined the mombasa as (for me) it appeared somewhat "flat" and small IRL.

I am thinking of doing the pre-order over at Saks.com for the large Muse in tan. Since I haven't seen a Muse in person, I was wondering if it is a very structured bag? Does it hold it's shape pretty well? I have an MJ putty Stam, so I am used to that type of structure. Will this one work for me? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

It's a mix - it's sturctured but soft so if it's not full of stuff there is a bit of slouchiness - but on the sides not the bottom. It is more of a structured bag than an unstructured one - but not as structured as the stam IMO.

Thanks for the information! It sounds like it's a bag I could definitely work. And, since Saks return policy is so good, I can't really lose in just checking it out.
