Why diden't you like the white patent ilovepositano? How is the distressing on the leather?

I really want one.. love patent.

well the white patent is alright. to me it would look alot more elegant with rhuthenium-type hardware....somehow the white patent and the gold just didn't do it for me.

the black patent is just sooo cool...i have always liked black patent but usually i find it too obtuse and reflective. this crinkly black patent is so very fabulous but still subtle....i saw it in the L and hope it looks just as good in XL.

that can't be the oak! it's too light, it looks like a nude-ish taupey, the oak is defintiely orangy brown

I like the orange but probably not enough to buy. big orange bag....

and the taupe...maybe its only a european color?

those are the two muses i saw at the look book at the trunk show brian!!!! i posted a while back what the colors are called....forgot their names now. will go hunting. but yes, the orangey one was the one i asked whether that was the "hermes orange" that gucci had mentioned.

gucci - those two colors are available for US. they had it in their lookboook and buy book for fall (not pre-fall). will find out their names right now...

ah yes, the very orangey one is called biccotto in the YSL lookbook. the other one is called taupe (just like LVR calls them). btw, i know the LVR lighting sucks for the taupe one, but that was pretty much how the color looked in the YSL look book too. just a tad darker on the lookbook according to my recollection.

i like the ornage one a lot but not enough to buy. i think that would make a nice fall statement bag type thing. the orange is a nice shade.

Ohh.. I have to start saving for the patent, maybe you are right white patent/ gold hardware might be a bit too much..

I have too many black bags, but maybe the black patent will be a bit more special.. you are really temting me.

just_me - i liked the black patent more too when i saw it, more than the white. it's pretty much what posi said - about the gold hardware + white patent = not too great muse.

the patent on the muse is really nice for sure, not shiny, in-your-face but more subtle.

Thanks shopping, I'm getting payed in a few weeks time, hopefully I can track one down by then.

Is anyone here getting the black patent? it's not really much of a "summer bag" really, that's why I thought of the white one. It can easily look a bit tacky in the sun if you get me..


I wish I had a YSL boutique next to me so I could check them out.

i will either get the red leather or black patent...but only if patent is not looking icky by then....

the other thing i would have to do is take the black patent outside and look at it in broad daylight. everything looks so St. Tropez sexy at YSL...
