in terms of wearing, the XL will slouch up quite a bit (in a really nice way!), here are some pics of worn in ones:

And as Brian and others have mentioned, mine is a total puddle when sitting, but on the shoulder gravity makes it take back its original shape no problem.

thanks mundodabolsa, ur comment made me LOVE the muse more!!! i love slouchy bags! u can just see how much use and love it gets by the way it slouches.. hehee..

btw.. any comment on what a owner-to-be of a first muse to which colour choice? i'm unsure if i should go with the classic white/choc or go for the new taupe colour.. hmmmmmm

congrats!! IMO, XL is a nice size! can fit almost anything in it! i can think of some and more!

i still like chocolate way better than oak, and will definitely get the red or chocolate XL come fall.

Did they have all three sizes so you could compare? How about the large? I know the XL is everyone's fav but it is just too big for me.

Yes..they did. After sleeping on it for a night, I still think the bag is beautiful, but I'm going to go a size down...the XL isn't functional enough for me...I have an almost year old son, and I like to give him a break from the stroller sometimes while we're out shopping...the XL muse is too big for me to carry while I'm holding him too .

Yes...it would be a chic diaper bag until a jar of baby food that you were sure you'd closed spills into the bag or a bottle of formula leaks ...Kate Spade makes the best diaper bags...I've had two .

Here's my new Muse. I picked it up on my trip to Beverly Hills. I was there the day they were doing the monograming. Its a med black. I didn't have intentions of buying one but the more I looked at them, the more I wanted.

They had a bunch. Ladies were buying them up. I also found a pair of metallic Dada pumps.

They come in med, large and xl (oversized). I also saw a small which was more for evening about 6" X 8".

Aspen...do you like that size better than the XL? I have the choc. brown XL and am thinking about returning it for the size you have .

chic_chick - it is the medium. I measured it approx 15" long at the bottom and 10" high. I was torn between the black and olive. Since I don't have many black bags, I picked it. I really like the white one too. A great summer bag. I don't remember seeing the taupe. The taupe you could use all year. Can't go wrong with either choice but I like the white better. The black and white patents were really tempting and I'm not a big fan of patent. They just look better on this bag. Maybe its the leather. But they are nice looking in person.

demarish - If your thinking of returning it you may want to get the large size insead. There is about - 3" difference between the med and large and if your going from an XL the medium may seem to small. I almost got the large but I needed a smaller bag. The XL is just to big for me. The handles look unproportional.

chic_chick- definitely the taupe! it's a gorgeous year round color, imho! i imagine the taupe to be the most gorge after it's broken in and slouchy. mmm! that will be delish! the white is super nice, but a bit played out for me, and it's also a bag that you need to love. if you have any doubt about the white muse, you aren't a white muse person, you know? for some people it just pops like crazy and they HAVE to have it, but if you have any reservations, i'd say go with taupe.

that taupe is a GREAT shade of taupe and exactly what i picture when i think of the color. some "taupe" bags are too dark or light, but this one is right on.
