I think you should go ahead with the black patent. The shape is VERY classic, so I don't think you need to worry about that at all, and you do keep comming back to the Muse. While the plain leather may be more obviously classic, I think that the patent can be just as classic for someone with your style. And since you wear so much black this will provide a better contrast for you I think.

My style is not really what you would call true classic.. but i'm sick of buying bags and get sick of the after two months.. hopefully this will be different, it's so hot now, the patent would look so good for fall, but it's hard to imagine with the heat and sun.

Do you guys think the oversized will be too big for someone who's 1.68M tall? How much bigger is the oversized compared to the Fendi Spy? Am worried the oversize will be too huge on me

Yes, it would be great for fall.

But it's high summer atm. so I don't seem to be in a rush of getting it.. but it might get sold out and since it's pre-fall they might not order it in again..

pucci - I would say go for the black patent it´s so gorgeous. I saw several colors in normal leather black, red, white, chocolate and oak also the patent in black, white chocolate and camel.

By far my favourite color is the the black patent then the normal leather in white. Hmm but I don't like the red color.

Hey girls just wanted to ask your opinions. I have a few Balenciagas and a Fendi Spy, but I'm pretty sick of buying these "seasonal" It bags (which I consider the Fendi to be) and want something more classic and timeless, which is why I'm considering the Muse in black (Hermes will have to wait). Do you think I'm making the right call? If not can you suggest other alternatives? And if yes to the Muse, black patent or normal leather? Do you find the patent too flashy?

^ Go for it! I luuuurve the black patent muse, I have too much stuff on my "want list" now but I have to get one sometime. I really dont think it's too flashy, the hardware is kind of a muted bronze tone.

Do you girls think one would be able to fit a small laptop (12 inch iBook) in the Large? Also, can patent handle more than regular leather..? I'm thinking if I get the patent I'd be less worried to take it out when it snows in winter.. with my regular leather bags I'm always afraid snow will leave water stains on the leather, but maybe patent will hold up better?

Hey klow... when did you get a chance to see the red? I have one on pre-order as well but have yet to see the red color ANYWHERE. Did you see the red in real life? Or a picture of the red?

MuyBien, the small is more like a dinner bag, its really small, you can only hold it in your hands or in your arm.
I have the medium and it fits over my shouler perfectly although it can get abit icky when its really humid and hot. In a/c places, i usually have it on my shoulder. Otherwise its on my arm. It looks good both ways so it depends on what you prefer.

Hmm thanks for the advice. I love this bag so much, I just wish it was a tad more comfy on the shoulder. I seem to always throw everything over my shoulder and feel silly carrying it on my arm for some strange reason! Though I do think it looks cute when other people do it. Maybe I'll go take a look after work today. I just want a very classic every day bag. Do we all think this is the way to go?? Thanks!
