Thanks kimair, but surely over time the canvas would get dirty... white canvas is hard to keep clean and I do not like to baby my bags.

I'm kind of surprised this bag is getting such adoration. To me it is really lackluster, and the name is really cheesy. I don't know, for almost 2k you could do much better in look, materials and longevity...

so i just got back from ysl, and this bag is really gorgeous in person...
they only had the one in the ads with kate (the colorblock one was on reserve for someone, and they had already picked it up)...
they only had the large, which i realized would be too large for me, so i am now on the list for a medium colorblock...

the handle of the blue one is nubuck, so i'd worry about it getting dirty/darkening with use...
the suede is very nice, but it is right on the front panel...
as much as i love it, i would worry more about this getting dirty than the linen/canvas sections...
there is a downtown and the catwalk bag made of the same suede...
i'd be interested in their thoughts regarding care of it...
the color of the linen/canvas is more of a tan and not beige/cream, so i don't think it will show dirt...

like caffeine said, even though the leather is slouchy (more like the rive gauche leather), the bottom is very structured with metal feet and "spines" that are covered in leather...

i also saw pics of the other colors in the lookbook, and they are all leather/suede mixed...
i believe the front panel is suede and the flap and other panels are leather...

Me too! I am not feeling this bag. Might change in the future but after looking at all the pictures, still nothing.

Good too, since I shouldn't be buying more bags.

i really love the colorblock version and the faux embossed croc ones (in black/grey and blue)...
the small mustard yellow one is cute too...
for some reason, the solid colors don't do it for me, but i need to see them in person before i say for sure...

i just ordered the blue in large- i really liked in irl, and the suede is just on the front so its easy to take care of..the grey is also veryy pretty...kimair, i saw a grey downtown in the faux croc suede as well, and girls, its gorgeous!! If I hadnt just bought a downtown i would def get it!
anyway the blue and grey are really nice, so is the black/burgandy...
the large size isnt that big actually!

i liiiike... looks nothing like the original muse though. it looks kinda like the mulberry picadilly bag or a balenciaga...one of the non motorcycle bags that's a patchwork of different colors.

ITA. It looks way different from the original, I wonder why they didnt give it a whole new name. Muse and Muse2, supposed to be sequel, rite?

which blue did you get Uniq? the leather one or the embossed suede blue one? Agree with you on the size.

I pre-ordered exactly the same one You are right that the front panel is easier to take care of.
Yes I saw the downtown. It is really gorgeous. I like how they used the embossed technique on suede. Very interesting.
Neither Downtown nor the Muse is my type of bag though so I am very glad to see the new bag...although I hate the name
