its not a terrible bag at all, but this bag holds no resemblance to the muse at all, so why call it muse 2? people will expect the bag to somewhat look like it.

YSL has launched too many bags in such little time, its a bit overwhelming actually. This bag doesnt have the wow factor that the others have had previously.

handbags and shoes are very important to fashion houses nowadays...
according to my sa, the musetwo and the majorelle are the bags that are getting the big push this year...
they have already been given to stylists for celebs and are going to be in vogue and bazaar (eds) in the coming months...

I like Forever, too.
Today's WSJ mentioned that Chloe used to have only 20 bag styles, and now they have 80!
Compared to Chloe I think YSL has been really focused. Like 2-3 main styles each season.

I went to YSL today and tried on the blue one from the ads. I concur with everyone else that its just completely stunning. The SA was great, he told me that they're coming out with it in purple for Spring. I didn't put my name down (yet) but I may go to the YSL trunkshow tomorrow to see what else fabulous is in store.

As for the purple, I believe he meant for the S/S Accessories for YSL - I believe right now they've just got the resort stuff and the Spring stuff is still coming in. So this year, in the coming weeks.

^ I believe Blue is spring too which is why they only had the display version but nothing in stock just yet Hopefully I'll go to the Trunk show today or tomorrow and be able to provide more concrete information.

This bag is just gorgeous but I agree i see no resemblance to the original muse. I must have it in the burgundy/black! That colorway actually reminds me of the Zac Posen Aurora Rachel Bilson was seen around with.

I really do like the bag, I just hate the fact that they put it in the ad on the arm of Kate Moss... that really is the recipe for an IT-bag.. and that is really not what i am after, which really is a shame as I saved the style.com picture when it first came out..
