butterfly yours are beautiful! These shoes in general are divine, really like the patent slingbacks. Hopefully they'll be in the sales in London (and I'll still be there when the sales happen....) because in my experience YSL shoes don't sell as well in the UK as they do stateside....

^^ Yes, they are the actual one in the pic. No, I ordered them from YSL BH. Ordering online is probably better, though, since they give you 30 days to return. Whereas, the boutiques only give you 10 (days).

Well, the purples arrived today and I'm thrilled! I've been wanting these for months and I think I've gone a bit crazy since I've purchased several colors!

I cannot tell you how gorgeous they are 'on'. They might not be for everybody, but they sure are flattering. They also kinda remind me of horse hooves, but I don't mind..

Here are the patent slingbacks..

At first, I was on the fence... Because they're slingbacks, I felt as though they had more of a "stripper" look than the maryjanes, but after pairing them with a few outfits, they actually work. They look best with modestly cut (yet flirty) clothing.. They're also just as comfortable as my VPs!

Wow wee Zow wee !!! Love them Butterfly !!!..... I tried getting those in NYC last week, but there were none to be had, she said they were restocking them tho, I have the black suede 105 tributes, and they are not that comfy to stand in for much more then maybe an hours worth of time, you mentioned that these are like VP's??... I consider my VP's to be like wearing my slippers, are these really that comfy??

Hubby wants me to get the 4" ones but i think they lost its charm/purpose without the 6" heels. I am hoping he will change his mind when he sees me trying them on when we visit LA or Vegas later..

aspen - I have a few dresses, skirts, skinny pants/trousers that go great with them.

natassha - OK, well maybe I got a little carried away, lol, but looks can be deceiving and they are surprisingly comfortable. And yes, almost as comfortable as my VPs...definitely more wearable than my Rolandos. (As of now the rolandos are the most uncomfortable pair I own(
