thanks for the feedback.

i went to the jen brill thread (thanks meg) and i think it's just side on that it looks strange in that outfit to me. because in the other pics they looked great. phew.

i wouldn't mind some modelling pics either butterfly

While I was in the olsen thread I was looking at a massive pic of Ash and scrolled down and spotted these. Can't see the heel but judging from butterfly's pics looks like the brown tributes to me! Not sure if it's just the flash but these look lighter than butterfly's?

yeah they seem to be the ones!!
i did want the black and pink ones beginning of season but am not sold yet.
maybe i should walk over to the YSL tomorrow and see....

I just got a pair of tributes in black yesterday. At first I was unsure because they were closed-toes and I thought the opened ones were so much more sexier but since they were on sale, I didn't pass the chance...

argh. am so annoyed at the ysl boutique here (tokyo). they're still selling the tributes at Aus$890. why haven't they gone down... gosh, even the lanvin boots 'on sale' were 890

i guess if the next time i go back and they're there...i'll get them but they also had old season loafer platforms (or are they a regular now) and i'm enticed... arghhh... not happy

ilovecouture, I got them from On Pedder Hong Kong. I think they are a black suede 4" and I am still trying to get my hands on the 6" version...hopefully in red.

aris, the booties are a bit more trend driven but they are way more wearable than the regular tributes. aside from most of the ladies on tfs they look like grandma shoes on some women. keep 'em!
