YSL Tributes

I am such an idiot.. I thought the 6" tribute were in stock when I saw them at ysl.com and that's why I was around asking for size advices.
And when I checked my other shoes this afternoon, I realized I am 35.5 in most brands, including CL. Now I am again confused and I am wishing to see the tribute in my size when I finally can go down to LA or vegas.
I also like 6" better but I am very short, even with the 6" I will be shorter than most girl with no heels.
I don't know if these shoes are trendy or not since they have been around since ss07, and the 4" had even gone on sale and available at bluefly. But I will need them to pair with my wide legged jeans.. well they will be covered inside the jeans so doesn't really matter I guess...

can anyone help me in finding more about the patent slingbacks. I am in absolute love.
The ysl site is confusing me, by stating that they are a 4" heel, when quite clearly they are higher in the picture.

are they available on any other websites?

I think that the tributes look so ugly in pictures but if you see them on feet they look stunning! I would break my neck trying to walk in them

Any YSL store will have them. Beverly Hills Rodeo has them for sure. I saw them there about 3 weeks ago. They're the newest style.

Do you think these are to trendy? Would you wear them in 5 yrs?

I tried them on in both heel heights and found no difference in walking in either.

well personally, i think it's a classic shoe that you can wear forever. it doesn't seem trendy at all to me.

the cheetah print is FIERCE!!

I ordered the patent slingback from nm.com about a month ago, but I don't think they are available online any more. You could try the nm stores and I think saks may have also had them. Mine are a 4" heel, but they do not look quite as high as the ones pictured above- they are on the same platform but I think they are missing the very bottom lip. They are awesome shoes and surprisingly comfortable to wear! I prefer this style to the maryjanes.

Butterfly, can't wait to see your slingbacks!! I have not seen the 6" in stores but maybe I haven't looked hard enough! I know they will be awesome!! I'm glad you like the avatar- I have a yorkie that I'm obsessed with (in addition to clothes/ shoes/ bags!)!

^^ Yes, they are the actual one in the pic. No, I ordered them from YSL BH. Ordering online is probably better, though, since they give you 30 days to return. Whereas, the boutiques only give you 10 (days).

Well, the purples arrived today and I'm thrilled! I've been wanting these for months and I think I've gone a bit crazy since I've purchased several colors!

I cannot tell you how gorgeous they are 'on'. They might not be for everybody, but they sure are flattering. They also kinda remind me of horse hooves, but I don't mind..
