Zara #5

^Ahh thanks. Now I feel silly for not checking that out after I couldn't figure it out from the wash tag.

I just bought this pair of flats:

I'm debating on returning them. I didn't realize they weren't leather when I tried them on in store and they're a bit snug in the toe-seeing as they're synthetic, I'm assuming they won't stretch out and will end up being uncomfortable. Anyone else bought Zara non-leather flats? How comfortable are they?

I just got this skirt

zara.com

It's lamb skin and really lovely. But I have no idea how to clean it.

I really wish the top part was leather too. I so would've gotten it if it was..

^I got it today, it fits perfectly, it's a very fitted coat.

Yeah, I saw it on your tumblr. Looks good but I don't like the black color in generaly.
I want a grey one in fishbone print.

^Oh yeah, that would be nice, the coat I bought is textured, not just a normal wool, the collar is detachable too, the only thing that bothers me is that it has no pockets at all, but other than that I have no gripes with it.

No, I like that it's a combination instead of only leather :p The leather is really nice, very soft and smooth. Sometimes, you get so disappointed by Zara's leather but this time, I think it's actually pretty reasonable priced.

i bought these two items. the skirt seems to run large in my opinion (on freja in the ad it sits on her waist, the small here droops on my hips)

has anyone else bought either of these two items? (zara.com)

What do you guys think of the new August lookbook? I really like it for Fall but I'm not getting anything until the temperatures drop...

lucy92 I was going to buy the skirt but the S and M have sold out on the US site. :( Zara's sizings usually are quite big, so are these bigger than their usual sizing even??

i'd say the S was equal to a US size 8 perhaps. i wonder if they might re-stock it. it may be a hot item. maybe a store will do a charge send? it can't hurt to ask...

Wow that's a very large cut! It's all back in stock online... I'm usually a US 6 and was going to buy the size M so thank you! How does it look sitting on the hips?

I got classic biker jacket from TRF for something aroung 150 Euros.
Bit pricy for ZARA trf but its real lamb leather and is Balenciaga inspired so I'm in love.
It runs very small though, I am usually S in jackets and I bought this in L. 0_o

i am also usually an S in other brands but have an M in a zara leather jacket...

i think the leather skirt looks OK sitting on the hips. of course it looks better in the ad on freja sitting at the small of the waist. if i had gotten the XS i'm sure it would have been too short and revealing.

i like the new studded leather jacket for 399. i havent seen it in stores yet however.

Has anyone noticed how low the armpits are on Zara blazers? It is so obnoxious because they are otherwise lovely. Is it possible for a tailor to move the armpits up or will this be an expensive alteration? I don't understand why they do this because they generally run quite small compared to some other brands. You can even see on the website how low some of the armpits are sewn although the models try to obscure this fact by holding their arms very close to their bodies.

i think most brands nowadays are like that, even the petite sizes unfortunately. and of course size inflation (vanity sizing) is rampant. a tailor can fix it, but it may cost more than 25$. you might want to try stuffing your bra for a quick fix to stretch out the fabric a bit. i'm going to have to resort to this for a few suits i've bought recently. :(
