Here are a few tidbits in the news about her show:

HUMAN TARGET, the action-drama series starring MARK VALLEY, has been axed by bosses at Fox. HUMAN TARGET, loosely based on the DC comic book of the same name, premiered in January 2010 and was renewed for a second season which premiered on 17th November.

The network has already picked up two new series' to replace the outgoing few, with the comedy-drama 'The New Girl' expected to debut in the fall. The show features Zooey Deschanel and has been written by up-and-coming comic actor JAKE M. JOHNSON.

Long the poster girl for the artsy indie crowd, her light touch voice fluttering through both records and beloved independent films, Zooey Deschanel is making the big move to mainstream, network TV.

Deschanel's sitcom pilot, "The New Girl," was picked up for next season by FOX on Tuesday night, meaning the actress will get her crack at charming a national audience. According to Deadline, in the show, Deschanel plays, "an unlucky-in-love elementary school teacher who moves away from her former boyfriend and in with three unruly guys."

In other words, fulfilling the unlikely fantasies of a lot of potential male 18-34 viewers.

Deschanel made her excitement about the pickup known all over the internet, tweeting last night "I am thrilled that our show got picked up & so excited to work with this great group of people!also know I'm getting humblebragged. whatevs."

^Awesome love it, she looks adorable in that red dress:flower:. Really hope this show is a hit, I love her and would love to see her on tv all the time:D

why mixes should never be made by computers
Last year a friend of mine asked me why I make my own mixes, he said, “why don’t you just use genius?”

Aside from the fact that I ENJOY making mixes, here is my practical answer: because “GENIUS” has placed, not one, but TWO gary lewis and the playboys songs on EVERY mix I have ever attempted to make using this feature- I mean gary lewis and the playboys? really? REALLY? These guys made like, one record; I have, literally, thousands of records in my itunes and somehow jerry lewis’ son’s band makes it twice onto every attempted “genius” mix. I am convinced, no matter what, “genius” will find a way to inexplicably include, ”just my style” and “everybody loves a clown” into all it endeavors; and that is, frankly, unacceptable.

This is why computers should not make mixes.

that said, I love apple and itunes, without which, I would be a lot less happy.

Omg I have to watch that show!! "did you just make a theme song about yourself?"- her facial expression is classic!
 
The outfit is a tad boring and the belt looks ill-fitting. Its all ok, but just ok. The only thing that looks particularly look is the hair
 
I think she looks cute in that dress, its very Zooey I like the color:flower:, i think a different shoe would make it more exciting though.
