I know when I was first listening to the album, which I bought the first day that it was available on iTunes, I was so eager to hear Zooey and Jason singing together that I assumed 'Summer day' was her, which we eventually learned was Kirsten. I can hear it NOW.

As for 'This old Machine,' as many times as I listen to it, it's still Zooey to me regardless of what coconut records says.

i know, it just really sounds like zooey. when i first listened to it, i was convinced it was her. a friend of mine and i argued about it too, so now she is in "i told you so" mode and i'm like yeah ok i still think it sounds like zooey. now that i'm listening for it though, i can hear kirsten too.

Zooey was on KEXP's "The Midday Show" with M. Ward on June 29th, they talked about the Go Getter and her album which she said is basically finished and that it's a mix of all different types of genres. Hopefully it will be out sometime next year. Anyway I ripped the songs they did together and I thought I would share with you guys.
