Cadillac Yellow Pant Set
C.1960 Italian yellow wool knit pant suit from Cadillac. The tunic has a mock turtleneck and 3/4 sleeves. The sleeves are accented with rows of pin-tucks. The pin-tucks are repeated on the pant legs and the matching tie sash belt. There are some weird spots on the one ant leg. They are in a pattern of closely spaced circles like someone pressed them on top of an ironing board without a pad. The tunic is perfect.

Multi-Colored Layered Dress
C.1960 Brightly colored layered rayon dress. The dress is a sheath style with an over dress of matching sheer fabric. The sheer fabric of the under dress is set on a base of chartreuse rayon. The over dress is attached to the under dress at the shoulder seams and neckline, front and back.

Green & White Chiffon
C.1960 A delightful silk chiffon dress in green and white with white ostrich feathers around the hem and on the bottom edge of the scarf drape. The scarf is draped from the right shoulder across the front of the neckline and secured on the left shoulder with the remaining allowed to drape down the back of the dress. The chiffon of the dress is set on a base of white rayon and the long sleeves are unlined. There is a small rusty colored spot smaller than a pea on the back of the left sleeve just below the elbow. The center back zipper is handset. No label, which is amazing to me what with the level of stitching of the dress.

Floral Mini Dress
C.1960 A fun mini dress with empire waistline. The fabric is a floral print with multi-colored metallic thread running in certain areas. Green rhinestones set on gold braided trim encircle the scooped neckline and down the center front, also the waist and the cuffs.

Shaheen Dress
C.1960 Orange cotton lawn sheath dress with hand painted flowers and set with black sequins by Shaheen. The dress is fully lined. The 3/4 sleeves are sheer. The dress has buttons for 3/4 of the length of the front of the dress.

Bright Floral Dress
c. 1960s Bright floral dress in a deep forest green background with hot pink, pink and grass green flowers. The dress has a scooped neckline front and back with a center back zipper. The bodice is fitted and joins the slightly gathered skirt at the natural waistline. The seam line is accented with a narrow matching fabric cord with a small bow set at the center front. The lower bust darts are set at an angle and create a center v-shape. The skirt has a center front inverted deep pleat and the skirt is lined with a fabric stiffener that supports the shape of the skirt. The fabric just at the underarms shows slight fraying and the armscye needs to be lower just slightly.

Green Metallic Pant Suit
C.1960s Great looking green and silver metallic pant suit with matching belt. The top is a tunic style with 6 round rhinestone buttons at the center front v-neckline. The sleeves are long and narrow ending at the wrist. A center back zipper closes the top. A 2-inch wide matching belt encircles the waist. There are two shallow slit pockets right and left of center below the waist. The trousers have a side seam zipper and the legs are straight and wide.

Navy Blue Evening Gown w/Red Sequins
C.1960-Navy blue evening gown with a bodice covered in silver and red sequins. The high round neckline is draped with a matching navy jersey scarf that drapes down the center back. The sleeves are long and narrow. The long skirt joins the bodice above the natural waistline. Center back zipper.

White Linen Pant Suit
C.1960s Fun white textured linen pantsuit with wide leg trousers and gold trim on the top. The tunic length top is sleeveless with empire waistline and two patch pockets applied below the natural waistline. At the empire waistline is a wide band of gold braided trim with a row of dangling gold coins. The tunic zips up the center back. The trousers have a side seam zipper and a wide leg.

Celery Green Dress
C.1960s Celery green cotton pleated dress. the bodice of the dress made up of horizontal pleats down past the hips where the accordion pleated skirt comes from beneath the final horizontal pleat. The neckline is a high rolled collar and there is a center back zipper to close the dress.

Turtle-neck Sweater Dress
C.1980s Orange, green and lavender knit sweater dress with a rolled turtleneck collar. The dress has a cable knit design down the center front and to either side of the center front panel a change in the weave to allow the colors to become completely visible.

Beaded Gray Crepe Evening Gown
C.1960s Dove gray silk crepe evening gown with a gray and silver beaded bodice. The bodice is set on matching silk crepe and is attached to the dress at the neckline, shoulders, center back zipper seam line and armholes allowing the bottom edge to drape freely. The under bodice structure is white silk organza. The neckline on the front of the dress is scooped and the back line is deeply scooped. The kick pleat is center back at hem.

1960s Bill Blass for Maurice Rentner Chartreuse Silk Dress
This dress brings all eyes on you. If the eye-popping color doesn't grab 'em, the split neckline certainly will. By Bill Blass for Maurice Rentner, its a princess seamed sleeveless shift dress, cut in a chartreuse crisp silk bengaline fabric. The neckline is jewel-cut, but has a slit from throat to bosom, and four enormous bezel set crystal buttons below the slit. There is an invisible zipper closure concealed under the front placket of the dress. Bust measures 35", waist 32", hip 37", shoulder 15.5", length is 39". Fully lined and in excellent condition.

1960s St. John Knit Lime Green and Navy Dress
And yet another great little St. John - a sleeveless shift style in lime green knit, trimmed along all the collar and placket in navy. The zipper closure in the front runs from collar to navel and is accented with a mod looking covered pull (last last photo shows the zipper fully zipped) . Very cute, and the kind of dress that is fabulous to slip into for a day at the office or a day at the beach. Flat, unstretched measurements are: Bust/waist 35", hip 36", shoulder 14", length 39". Best on modern size 6, slender 8. Faint spot at the right thigh, otherwise in excellent condition.

1960s Bill Blass Silk Princess Ball Gown
Bill Blass loved women and it shows. Whether dressing them in evening wear or sports wear, his clothes are forever flattering and feminine. He also loved using color in his designs, and this gorgeous ball gown from the 1960s demonstrates Blass at his best - the kind of dress that makes a grand entrance. A spectacular shimmery vision of weighty silk pique with silver metallic thread and splashed with huge 'watercolor painted' flowers in shades of magenta, pink, taupe, violet, marine blue, bronze and a touch of orange. The bodice has a u-shaped neckline, princess seaming and is very closefitting, in sharp contrast to the poufy elbow length sleeves and full skirt. Sleeves have an elasticized gathered cuff. The gown closes with a back zip, and is full lined. Bust measures 37", waist 27", shoulder 16", sleeve 22", total length 54". Sized for no larger than a small modern 8, it is in excellent condition with some minor discoloration of the lining, and a small spot on the shoulder where the metallic fabric has oxidized.

1960s Butte Knit Wool Knit Dress and Jacket
So, you think pink isn't ladylike? Then you must have missed Kate Moss in Dior's suit version of this in the August issue of Vogue. The shade of this dress and jacket is a vivid cerise - close to Schiaparelli's shocking pink (our favorite color), and a great juxtaposition for the simple, elegant cut of this wool knit dress from Butte Knit. A straight short-sleeved sheath and single breasted jacket trimmed in a silk satin of the same shade. The hip length jacket has bracelet length sleeves, faux welt pockets at each hip, and satin covered buttons. Dress measurements: Bust 38", Waist 36", Hip 38", Shoulder 15", Sleeve 9", Length 39". Jacket measures Bust 40", Hip 38", Shoulder 17", Sleeve 17", Length 22", the knit has a bit of give to it. There is a tiny flaw, located not quite under the right lapel, otherwise both pieces are in excellent condition.

Silk crepe de chine with a cute stylized floral print in turquoise, lime green, kelly green, white and black on a French blue background. The faux wrap neckline and waistband are trimmed in lime green silk shantung. The bodice is sleeveless and fitted, the skirt slightly gathered into the waist. Back zipper closure, the dress is fully lined in a comfy lime green cotton. The bust measures 36", waist 27", hip 42", shoulder 14.5", length 37".

1960s Mollie Parnis Wool Challis Short Granny Dress
Did Laurie Partridge have a dress like this? She wished. From the Mollie Parnis Boutique, this wool challis ultra-cool granny dress has a hip geometric print of purple squares on a red-orange background, alternating with stripes of harvest gold amoeba shapes with purple rings. The border print on the cuffs and at the hem is a larger reversed print of the same pattern. Stand up collar, back zip, triple snaps at the barrel cuff, and a banded border print at the waist with an ever-so- slightly gathered skirt make for one groovy dress. Fully lined in red-orange silk and in excellent condition. Measurements are: Bust 38", Waist 30", Hip 42", Shoulder 16", Sleeve 25", Length 41.5".

1960s Blue Dress and Cropped Jacket
An A-line styled cocktail dress with matching cropped jacket, cut in a deep sapphire blue twill fabric in what feels like a silk blend with a slight sheen. Short sleeved with tabs at the waist accented with black rhinestone studded buttons and a back zipper closure. The double breasted jacket is hip length, with eight of the rhinestone buttons, bound buttonholes and an attached tie at the neck. The jacket is lined, the dress is faced and unlined. Bust 36" waist 34", hip 38", shoulder 15", sleeve 8", length 39". Jacket bust and waist measure 38", shoulder 15", sleeve 20" length 20". Bears a Nat Kaplan label and both pieces are in excellent condition.

1960s Chester Weinberg Silk Dress
We love, love, l-o-v-e this dress by genius style-meister Chester Weinberg. Silk satin in a glorious floral print of white and black on a cafe au lait background. Cut in a flared A-line, with a v-neckline in front, u-shaped in back, it has an empire waistline fitted at the bust and accented by a 3” wide adjustable black silk duoppioni belt that buckles just beneath the bust. From there the skirt eases out to fall in soft, flirty folds about the hip, creating a modified 'baby doll' line. Back zip closure with an inverted pleat at the center back of the skirt and hidden inseam side pockets at the hip. A band of raw black silk accents the neckline and hem. Elbow length sleeves have a covered snap closure at the cuff. Fully lined in white china silk, this baby is utterly adorable and in excellent condition. With a black patent bag and heels, this is the perfect dress to wear to the wedding of your fiancé's snooty ex-girlfriend, which you had actually dreaded attending until you saw this dress. Bust measures 34", waist (actually underbust) 36", hip 40". shoulder 15", sleeve 15", length 37".
